Originally I couldn’t get into the MFC but she grew on you. I enjoyed how each guy felt different not just a reskinned version of one person. I do second others view about needing a male voice. The books are good but could be great with the addition.

What kept confusing me was the accent, legit sounds like she’s Latina. The male narrator was okay did a good job at the different male voices. Only jarring when he switched to her voice or another female voice because you have to set your mind on how she speaks.

The story itself was nice, spice was great and not at all over doing it. Once the relationships started mfc did not suddenly become weak. She did grow and it seemed like the guys though slow did as well. So double thumbs up for character growth on the guys part. Most rh do not do this.

This round the narration was also grating along with the story. There clearly wasn’t real training, if it’s constantly forgotten. Also annoying that the guys still know they did her dirty and continue to keep away her autonomy. Series is kind of wildly out there though. Worth it on a discount not at full price. Also Batman voice is hilarious during high stress scenes.

Can’t stand authors who lie about how well trained a character is. How smart they are how strong they are when push comes to shove they are weak. It makes the story annoying and if money had not been spent would have been a great big dnf. Not sure how it’s rating so high because of this.

The narrators aren’t bad but also aren’t good. They sound off during high stress situations or even during the bully scenes.

Not bully romance torture porn instead

Nothing redeemable about any of the males. Author shouldn’t have bothered with constantly saying she was trained. Trained for what? To be a victim?

Also I just can’t with fully tattooed teenagers or campuses were professors and headmasters just allow students to torture each other. Especially if they all are rich, and the states. People will sue just because their snot nosed crotch goblins aren’t allowed to cheat using AI.

Any who, stand by the males being sacks of trash. The girl is damaged and not strong. Stop leading people to this series lying to your friends that she is. She’s trauma damaged.

A majority of the could have been bypassed was because they all forgot how to use their over priced apple device. And lol these kids are into everything but can’t afford mobile devices?! They are from poor broken families not some hillbilly compound with no running water or electricity. I could see the girl not having it but the guys yeah no. Wasn’t a bully romance wrong category, there was bullying but it wasn’t from the mmc’s. Also a lot of filling in this book. As for the narrators the lady was spot on but the guy sounded older than the characters so had a laugh with that. At least it was all for one credit. S

Plot what plot no build up, just instant sex. Like just call it smut not romance bully or not this was rubbish wasted three credits since it was suggested. The female narrator reads the book so slow you have to speed it up. The mfl gets used as the houses sex slave. When the three main leads see the others during crap they do nothing. As of chapter 22 there is no Will. He must be an hallucination or imaginary friend.

Dislike is a stronger word to what I felt with the series. Going to go with it was good enough to read and finish. Spice was maybe two peppers. Three at the most all involved were late teens as in 18-19 so even though it was high school no ick.

Again as the title review said the ending was lovely may read again just for that. Wish there had been an extra bit like them in college or something. Contemporary stories are normally a pass for me because the relationships don’t last.

The odd names made me believe it was going to be a retelling of the fairytales it wasn’t. That wasn’t the issue, it was the instant lust instant love bits. I’m a foster kid we don’t just instantly drop the mistrust of adults or people bigger than us. That leering bit kept me from growing attached to the characters.

Further I can’t trust any of the guys I know everyone morns differently but dang that was rough. Also considering all of them have trauma and see she has it I could not imagine them ever growing up.

Overall I will move to the second book but only because of curiosity of what next. Don’t like the characters. Narrator is the show rn.

Nice start to a series, liked that the Mc isn’t immediately strong or even going off at the mouth about how strong he can be. Found parts to be amusing and a few to be slightly dry. But overall waiting for the next part curious on what will happen next.
