I enjoyed the Christian themes and the continued development of the characters from previous books. The anti Christ character also is consistent in his character and actions. I find the series very well written and the narrator an excellent reader.

Story
It has been three and a half years since the Rapture took up the bodies of the innocent to Heaven. The prophecies foretell that this is the point when the seven-year Tribulation shall become the Great Tribulation, with the forces of evil tightening their grip on humanity in preparation for the final battle. As the world mourns the death of a renowned leader, the Tribulation Force looks for the next predicted sign, that Satan will take possession of the Antichrist and raise him from the dead!

It's as exciting as a sci fi adventure story, but it's based on the Bible.

The characters are interesting and consistent. There's drama, romance, and some humor. It's spiritual, based on the book of Revelation. The story is not predictable, even though you know some of what should happen based on reading the Bible. The narrator is excellent and the author is highly skilled. I have found it very entertaining.

I really am currently enjoying the Left Behind series. When I found the prequels, I was really happy to delve more deeply into the characters. All of these stories are based on the Christian Bible and the prophecies of the end of the world when Jesus comes back. The storyline is exciting, the characters are interesting and develop over the course of the series. I'll probably listen to these books over and over again.

Especially after a university colleague wants him to investigate a massive old house for things that go bump in the night. Still, Stone figures it's an easy job: just turn up, put on a little show, and announce that the house is clean. Only it isn't. A malevolent spirit is reawakening in the basement.
