Story
Human sacrifice still goes on uncomfortably close to home - cases have been found in the U.S., Europe, and the United Kingdom. In other parts of the world, such as South America, ritual killing is almost commonplace. Human Sacrifice investigates the terrifying current spate of human sacrifices and ritual killings. Jimmy Lee Shreeve draws on police reports and interviews with the victims' families to paint a horrifying picture of ritual sacrifice at home and abroad.

Story
Ever since he became a Christian at the age of 40, it has been Poirot actor David Suchet's dream to make an audio recording of the complete Bible. In between filming the final episodes of Poirot, David Suchet spent over 200 hours in the recording studio to create the very first full-length audio version of the NIV Bible spoken by a single British actor.

A perfect narration
Reviewed: 07-15-21
Every other Bible narration I've heard focuses on the performance... drums, trumpets, dramatic voices, etc.
As skilled as these narratives may be, I hear only the performance, not the words. David Suchet uses none of these tricks...all you hear is his own quiet, cultivated yet normal voice speaking the words quietly. No trumpets, no flash, just quiet words with gentle inflection, and suddenly, I'm hearing the WORDS, the stories, the promises, and the hope. This is the Bible as it should be read, letting the Word speak for itself.

In her new book, Rosenberg addresses the overlooked and offbeat issues of mental illness, shedding light on topics that are off limits, uncomfortable, or just downright embarrassing. This is the third Amy Harmon book I've experienced and, after each one, I've felt that "Now, I understand." Although I've done extensive reading about this time period, she managed to bring about a new understanding. Narration was perfect and helped me actually experience the story as if I had a role in it myself. Outstanding in every way.

Story
Professor Theo Cray is trained to see patterns where others see chaos. So when mutilated bodies found deep in the Montana woods leave the cops searching blindly for clues, Theo sees something they missed. Something unnatural. Something only he can stop. As a computational biologist, Theo is more familiar with digital code and microbes than the dark arts of forensic sleuthing.
