Story
Matthew Henry had the rare ability to express profound spiritual insights with simplicity and eloquence. Over the years, his writings have been read for both their scholarship and devotion, and none more than the classic Concise Commentary on the Whole Bible. Now you can listen to the very best of Matthew Henry in this new edition of his famous commentary.

This IS NOT Matthew Henry! It's a Paraphrase!
Reviewed: 10-05-19
This IS NOT a concise Matthew Henry Commentary! It is a Commentary or Paraphrase of Matthew Henry's Commentary. Very few actual words from Matthew Henry compared to the one writing said Commentary.
The Publisher should be ashamed of presenting this as a concise work of Matthew Henry. I do not say that the writer of this Commentary does not present some good commentary, but I have both Matthew Henry's Complete Commentary and very little of his wording is included, as I indicated, compared to the one making the paraphrase.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
My wife and I got to the 7th Track of Disk 1 and stopped. We even restated at Track 7 the next night but realized we had enough. The writer makes it quite clear that she does not write for an audience that have any type of conservative pro-American view points.
What could Blaize Clement have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I think she should not have showed her animosity to American Workers at such a time when there are so few "good" paying jobs. Apparently, she never had to really work in the Real World!
