I appreciate that the book covers a range of topics and it’s filled with various examples and offers guidelines on how to address subtle acts of exclusion from three different potential roles in the interaction, or even when there is not interaction at all. I also liked reference to other resources throughout the book. This book was made with love! I’ll be putting into practice what I have learned and spread the word to others on this very important matter.

The book is a must have for anyone working with eating disorders. It has a lot of useful information on various factors influencing weight, the food industry and weight stigma in the medical community. The book can get quite technical at times, so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Also, the reader’s voice was mostly robotic or monotone. A hard copy might be best

Very good!

I enjoyed these classics n spite of having trouble understanding at times because of the reader's intonation and heavy accent at times. The reader does a great job changing voices and getting into the characters, but that is exactly what makes it so hard to understand at times unless you're from that part of the world. Speaking English is simply not good enough; you will have less trouble understanding if you're British or Scottish I believe. To be fair, I wanted the British accent anyway because H.G. Wells was English, so I wanted it to be as authentic as possible. I got my wish with this book! Worth reading and purchasing!

Decent book with some good and inspiring suggestions, but it is very commercialized. The author keeps referring to his website all throughout the book. It would have been preferable if he had simply mentioned his website once either at the beginning or the end of the book. He is also looking for new subscribers to his newsletter

Story

Story
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Tara’s older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University.

Story
