Story
Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. Peeta has been captured by the Capitol. District 13 really does exist. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding. It is by design that Katniss was rescued from the arena in the cruel and haunting Quarter Quell, and it is by design that she has long been part of the revolution without knowing it. District 13 has come out of the shadows and is plotting to overthrow the Capitol. Everyone, it seems, has had a hand in the carefully laid plans - except Katniss.

The end of the Hunger Games series ended strong. The books are so much better than the movies.
- The narration is smooth and clear and stays at a comfortable speed.

Story
One of the most desolate stretches of railroad in the West. Travelling along it is a crowded troop train, bound for the cholera-stricken garrison at Fort Humboldt. On board are the Governor of Nevada, the daughter of the fort’s commander and a US marshal escorting a notorious outlaw. Between them and safety are the hostile Paiute Indians – and a man who will stop at nothing, not even murder…

Story
Full of mischief, valor, ribaldry, and romance, The Arabian Nights has enthralled readers for centuries. These are the tales that saved the life of Scheherazade, whose husband, the king, executed each of his wives after a single night of marriage. Beginning an enchanting story each evening, Scheherazade always withheld the ending: A thousand and one nights later, her life was spared forever.

Good story, or stories. Each new story flowed from the previous one. The narrator was fair. She often lost the flow of the narrative. It was a good listen over all.

Story
Widely regarded as the first English novel, Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe is one of the most popular and influential adventure stories of all time. This classic tale of shipwreck and survival on an uninhabited island was an instant success when first published in 1719, and it has inspired countless imitations.

Good book. I was surprised at the amount of faith based story. The narrator was very good. The nature of the prose being old English, is enjoyable to me. This is a story everyone should read at least once.
Enjoy.

Audible are delighted to present Sleeping Beauty, a unique listening experience for all the family to enjoy over the Christmas season. This exclusive new audio drama has been created in collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra and is inspired by Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet music. Marty Ross’s reimagining of the famous fairy story draws on the worlds of folktale and the Brothers Grimm, while the LSO's specially-commissioned new recording, conducted by Gavin Sutherland, weaves through the drama like a rich and majestic film score.

what Happened To The Corporal
Reviewed: 11-03-24
Interesting production. Sometimes hard to follow. Characterizations were over the top. To much huffing and puffing. Kisses don't go over so good in radio programs. Sounds like something being squashed.
- Overall I enjoyed listening to the story as it was something different. The music was good. But...what happened to the Corporal?

Story
Golan Trevize, former councilman of the First Foundation, has chosen the future, and it is Gaia. A superorganism, Gaia is a holistic planet with a common consciousness so intensely united that every dewdrop, every pebble, every being, can speak for all - and feel for all. It is a realm in which privacy is not only undesirable, it is incomprehensible. But is it the right choice for the destiny of mankind? While Trevize feels it is, that is not enough. He must know.

Not Asimov's Best Story
Reviewed: 11-02-24
A crazy dash across the galaxy in̈ search of the mystical entity known as earth. Loose ends of the Foundation series were brought together and tied off. To me, it felt rushed and tossed together.
The narrator was pretty good. On occasion he sounded a bit like Ronald Reagan doing a radio show.
Overall, the story reads more of a history than a work of fiction. Fake history creating words for words sake.
Still, this is a must read for any fan of the Foundationv series. Asimov remains my favorite author. To future readers...enjoy.

Good narrator. His voice is easy to listen to whether you listen in short bursts, or marathon listening.
This story is Clancy at his best 👌 It tells the story of John Clark, a fan favorite. Back in the day this was the most anticipated book of his early works.
Clancy's words dredge up images to bring out unwanted gasps. He gets the adreniln flowing so fast, time means nothing and before you know it you're late for work.
Of all of Clancy's books, this is the one not to miss.

Buy now this book is old hat. Pretty much everyone who's a fan has read it, watched it, and listened to it. Some of us old grognards have even played it.
This is to the younger folk who may have never read or listened to a book. This story is better than any video game or album you might have sat through. I challenge you to read it. Practice an old skill soon to be a lost art.
If you can't do that. then listen to this story. I promise you won't be disappointed.
