🔥Trinity and Wrath hold a special place in my heart, as their love story has been teased through several previous books. However, White Knuckles didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
The raw intensity of Wrath’s need for Trinity, while undeniable, didn’t come across as passionate or romantic—it felt crass. Both characters, despite their strong chemistry, started to feel predictable and a bit flat.
There were thrilling moments, of course, but overall, the magic was missing. (Wrath is a Tool and just wanted to "bang" his old lady!)
🛑 I absolutely adore Troy's narration—his voice is hands-down my favorite for male characters. He really brings depth and authenticity to every role he plays. However, I struggled with Elizabeth's performance. Her take on Wrath was particularly difficult for me to enjoy; it felt shaky and did not sound like a male's voice, which completely disrupted the flow of the story. Unfortunately, it was so distracting that it took away from my overall experience. I kept trying to listen through it, but it just didn’t work for me.
Wrath embodies the classic "alpha male" archetype, but his overbearing and aggressive nature left me unsettled. His behavior towards his fiancée, Trinity, crosses the line between protective and possessive, with his caveman-like tendencies turning what should be love and care into something both stifling and disturbing. The constant control he exerts over her feels less like passion and more like a troubling refusal to let her exist independently.
🔥Trin and Wrath were my favorite duo up until this book, but I just wish this book had that extra je ne sais quoi that would’ve made it unforgettable.
On to the next MC adventure! ~Namaste MC lovers.

🩺🩸Ya lost me at Chapter 23!!!💔
Reviewed: 01-04-25
🧲I absolutely adore Daphne Loveling—she’s one of my all-time favorite authors, and Troy and Anastasia’s narration is always sensational, breathing life into her characters in a way that feels magical. I was hooked from the very start of this book, captivated by its promise and brilliance. However, by chapter 23, things took an unexpected turn that left me feeling utterly disappointed. Without giving too much away, I just couldn’t understand why the strong, intelligent Kat we’d come to love suddenly made choices that felt out of character and almost, dare I say, dumb. It was a gut punch to my connection with her and, sadly, the book for me.
🧲I truly loved how this audiobook started—focusing on the raw, beautiful passion between Connor and Kat, rather than angst or conflict. Their love felt real, and I was completely absorbed in their journey. The chemistry was undeniable, and everything flowed smoothly—until chapter 23. That’s when Kat completely lost me. After all the abuse and betrayal from her evil brother, she inexplicably regressed, acting like a naïve child, still trying to forgive him despite everything he had done. As an educated nurse, it didn’t make sense that she’d continue to trust someone so toxic. This plot twist felt jarring, and honestly, it took away from what could have been a perfect story. While it was still an enjoyable read, chapter 23 and Kat’s character shift left a bittersweet taste. On to the next MC book—thank you for the ride, though. ~ Namaste MC Lovers! (PS - This book also could have used a bit more in the romance dept! - Just sayin!)

Story
I've had enough trouble with men to last me a lifetime. All I want is to live my life, build my law practice, and focus on my career. Then everything changes when I'm hired to represent a member of the Lords of Carnage MC in a child custody case . . . and Striker Rossi is assigned as my bodyguard. The minute his eyes lock on mine, I know this man is damaged. Reckless. Trouble. The way he looks at me does things to me I don't want to feel. I get the feeling he knows a thousand ways to get down and dirty. And I don't want to like it as much as I do.

💔Not What I Expected – A Bit of a Letdown
As an avid reader of motorcycle club (MC) romances, I had high hopes for this book, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. While it was full of strong characters and emotional moments, it lacked the action and romance that I was craving in an MC story, especially one that promised a central love story between Ember and Striker. To put it simply, this book was more about the adoption of Wren than the fiery romance I was hoping for.
💔The Characters: One thing I did truly enjoy was the characters. Ember, in particular, stood out as a woman who was strong, capable, and caring. I loved her backstory and the way she handled the challenges life threw at her. However, when it came to Striker, I just couldn’t connect. I was expecting a charming, brooding alpha like so many other MC heroes, but instead, I found Striker to be more of a burnout, a man whose rough edges seemed too jagged for me to even try to like him. His character felt a bit flat and unappealing—hard to root for in a romance. In fact, I found myself wishing Ember would have run in the opposite direction and found someone who treated her better. Striker didn’t seem to deserve her.
💔The Romance: This is where things get tricky. The book promises a romance, but it feels more like an afterthought. The connection between Ember and Striker took over 20 chapters to develop, and by the time they finally hooked up, I was left feeling like it came too late in the story. The two hot romance scenes were steamy, yes, but they were few and far between, and the rest of the book felt bland in comparison. For an MC story, I was expecting more of that adrenaline-fueled passion, but unfortunately, this just didn’t deliver on that front.
💔The Storyline: The story was more focused on the adoption of Wren rather than the relationship between Ember and Striker. While the adoption arc was touching, it overshadowed the love story that I was hoping to see developed. This shift in focus felt a bit jarring and left me disappointed. The ending, too, felt abrupt and unsatisfying, with little exploration of the true depth of Ember and Striker’s love.
â?¤ï¸?🔥Narration: As always, the narration was a highlight. Troy and Jillian did a fantastic job bringing the story to life, and their voices added an extra layer of magic to the listening experience. Daphne’s writing was solid, and while this book wasn’t for me, I still admire her talent as an author.
💔Final Thoughts: All in all, this book didn’t hit the mark for me. I adore the author and the narrators, but the story just didn’t deliver the action, romance, or character development I was hoping for. Striker’s character was a major letdown, and the book’s focus on the adoption storyline rather than the romance made it feel more like a family drama than an MC romance. While it may appeal to readers who prefer a slower burn or who are more invested in emotional depth than action, this just wasn’t the book for me.
â?¤ï¸?🔥I’m definitely looking forward to my next MC adventure, though. Here’s hoping the next one brings the heat!

💥Brava to Daphne Loveling for crafting one of the most sensual and emotionally intense audiobooks I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. This story is raw, heartfelt, and filled with the kind of angst that pulls at your soul. True love is always worth the wait, and Brody and Rory's journey is the perfect example of that enduring passion and struggle. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and I found myself fully invested, rooting for both characters as they navigated their way through life and love.
💥A huge shout-out to our sensational narrators, Troy and Anastasia – you both brought Daphne's amazing characters to life in a way that had me completely immersed. Your voices were the perfect match for this powerful love story, making every moment feel even more real and compelling. From the central romance to the drama and, of course, the steamy erotica – just the way we like it – this audiobook had it all.
💥Though I wish the story had been longer or perhaps had a follow-up, six hours and 31 minutes just wasn’t enough to fully savor this incredible journey. But what a journey it was! Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this book to life – I’m already looking forward to the next book. ~Namaste, MC lovers.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 20 STARZ!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
🌋Tessa Bailey, you've done it again—and then some! This book? Oh my gosh—it’s an absolute masterpiece of sizzling erotic romance, and I’m honestly at a loss for words (but I’ll try to find some anyway). This is, without a doubt, one of the most mind-blowingly spectacular books I’ve had the pleasure of listening to in years! If you’re looking for a book that will have you blushing, swooning, and emotionally wrecked in the best way possible, this is it!!!!
🌋The Story: Tessa Bailey has created a scorching hot romance between Will and Teresa that has everything: chemistry that practically sizzles off the page, a road trip adventure with plenty of will-they-won’t-they tension, and a heartwarming connection that just clicks. It’s that perfect blend of lust and love, with a dash of whimsy thrown in for good measure. EKKKK and more please!
🌋What really sets this apart, though, is how effortlessly Bailey weaves in the deeper emotional connection between Will and Teresa. Their bond isn’t forced—it feels like fate, like soulmates drawn together by some magical pull. There’s no unnecessary angst or drawn-out drama to bog things down, and it’s so refreshing to read a love story that just lets the characters be. There's a certain je ne sais quoi about them that makes their relationship feel special from the get-go. (I'm dyin here!)
🌋Characters: Will and Teresa are just phenomenal. Will is the kind of character you instantly fall in love with—charming, caring, and full of white-hot passion. And his dog? Adorable. (after all, who doesnt like dogs..right?!) Teresa? She's got a heart of gold, trying to help her brother while navigating her own complicated emotions. Together, they form a couple you can’t help but root for, both individually and as a team. They’re intelligent, likable, and just the right amount of vulnerable, which makes their connection even more real and raw.
🌋What I truly loved is that there’s no game-playing. It’s real, it’s messy, it’s beautiful, and it’s HOT—seriously hot! The chemistry between these two is so palpable that you'll find yourself holding your breath through every scene, hoping they’ll finally give in. And when they do? Boom-sha-ka-la-KA!
🔮The Narrators: If you’re an audiobook listener, you’re in for a treat. James and McKenzie’s narration brings this book to life in ways I never expected. The inflections, the chemistry they bring to each word—it's like they are Will and Teresa. They didn’t just read the book, they embodied it. Kudos and a standing ovation to them for making this a truly immersive experience! (but Now Im hooked like a junkie and NEED more of Will and T's story...Porfa!)
ðŸ“?The Impact: I honestly don’t know how to describe just how much I loved this book without just typing AHHHH over and over again. 💥The chemistry, the passion, the way Bailey made me feel—I was hooked from the first chapter, and I didn’t want it to end. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it took me four nights to finish because I was so desperate to stretch it out. I didn’t want it to be over.
â?¤ï¸?🔥Now, I’m left with an aching heart, wishing for more. More Will and Teresa. More of their electrifying love story. Please, Tessa, please—I would die for a follow-up or two. I need to know more about their next adventure!
🛑Final Thoughts: In a sea of romance novels, this one stands out as something extraordinary. Tessa Bailey’s writing has officially made her my new go-to for steamy, heartfelt, and mind-meltingly good romance. Her ability to craft characters you genuinely care about while keeping the tension and passion high? Absolute genius. This book took me on a ride—an emotional rollercoaster of pure delight and heat that I’ll be thinking about for weeks.
💯So if you're looking for a book that’ll have you melting, laughing, sighing, and just feeling all the things, look no further. Will and Teresa’s love story is one you’ll never forget.
â?£ï¸?Thank you, Tessa Bailey. Thank you, James and McKenzie. You’ve created magic!!!!!
ðŸªUntil the next adventure... Namaste, Tessa Bailey fans! ✨

💥WOW ~ SPARK FLEW... 10 STARS!!!!!🌟
I must say this was the most intoxicating book have listened to in over a year. I completely fell in love with both bleed characters and the beautiful writing of AJL!
First of all, I'd like to say thank you to our lovely author Autumn. AJL...you are my absolute favorite! Hot Damnnn! Your stories not only "take me away".....but take my breath away! SENSATIONAL... What a goddess!
Bravo to narrators Noelle and Troy. Always a pleasure amigos! Your voices bring Autumn's characters to life! J'adore! (I'm bowing at your feet!)
Even though I'm truly addicted to all of Autumn's MC books, there's something unique about Trinity and Raths heart wrenching love story. Wickedly amazing and completely addicting! AHHH! F-yea! Listening to the words, drip off the tongues of Noel and Troy was like savoring decadent chocolate! EKKKK! You can never get enough and will always crave more!
🪆My heart went out to Trinity and what she had endured as a child. It made her stronger, fearless and amazing!
Rath starts out as a real sweetheart. Unfortunately, his immature attitude allowed his boyish mannerisms to control his life. There were so many wonderful opportunities Rath had to speak with Trin to make things right. (but he allowed childish ways and macho man testosterone get in the way of true love. Thanks to Autumn nonlinear storytelling, their hauntingly beautiful love story is weaved throughout this book and into my soul. AHH!
I connected with Trinity out of any of the other female characters in Autumn's MC books. I could see through Raths childish stunts. He truly loved Trinity from the beginning, but if they would have gotten together from the beginning, we wouldn't have this beautiful love story. What can I say... I was really rooting for this couple!
** The only thing I would've done different if I was, the author is not had eight years ago by. ( perhaps two?) I felt eight was too long! I would've had Trinity move out of the club house house (before she slept with the guys) perhaps out to California for self discovery and then come back a whole new person. Again, I love this book, but it was really hard to see Trinity just slump along for eight years being used like a dish rag by all the guys. Especially if they knew in the back of their mind or through club rumors that Rath had any type of feelings for Trinity. And obviously Trinity had feelings for Rath! Just Sayin!
I wish AJL could write a trilogy on these incredible characters. I really dragged this one out because I didn't want it to end! I loved it all....I only craved more!!!
Until the next incredible MC book. It's gonna be hard to top this one amigos.
