How many people die in this book. Grim
Reviewed: 12-17-24
I loved the way all of the people in different places and dimensions were still on the same path, even if they didn't realize it... lots of emotions this book brings for the reader who has connected with the cosmire from the start. this drags many of the other books together. I left this book angry, sad and also wanting to get to "what's next"

Story
The Catenan Republic—the Hierarchy—may rule the world now, but they do not know everything. I tell them my name is Vis Telimus. I tell them I was orphaned after a tragic accident three years ago, and that good fortune alone has led to my acceptance into their most prestigious school. I tell them that once I graduate, I will gladly join the rest of civilized society in allowing my strength, my drive, and my focus—what they call Will—to be leeched away and added to the power of those above me, as millions already do. As all must eventually do.

The high magic system
Reviewed: 12-07-24
I bought this book a couple of days before my birthday in 2023. About a week after I bought it I listened to it and I wasn't quite excited about the narrator's voice. it kind of reminded me of the narrator's voice and elantris by Brandon Sanderson. so I put it away for later. Just a few days ago I pulled this book out and could not put it down. I got used to the voice in about an hour, without adjusting the speed or anything like that. I have never been so impressed with a book in all my life. Even the cliffhanger, Wasn't too bad. I was very connected to all the characters that they gave us and even shed a tear at the end when one of my favorite characters didn't make it. A must read for anyone that's looking for a book that's full of magic and twists and turns. By the way they had a labyrinth, an evil Labyrinth. so much evil in this book, and people pushing and pulling other people's strings. I really like this book

from the time this book started until the very end I had a hard time putting it down. this is by far my favorite in the strike series. The bad guy took me by surprise... these books get more detailed and better and better as they go. Robin went Undercover into a cult Church , and all I wanted to do was get her to leave . I just wanted her to escape or somebody to bust in there and steal her away . and then there was that damn box . I was so done . I highly recommend this book.

I know that I had to see the world through Alexis eyes. but it was hard because the things that happened to her from a child to a teen was so horrible. We had to relive it over and over. When we got to the rabbit and I was so sad for the memories that this person had to carry just to be the strength for our world, that she thought she was saving. The World building in this book is incredible. I recommend this book for anybody that really wants to go through a hellish Journey. Amazing writer great narration all around good book. Sooooo creepy

Galaxy “Alex” Stern is the most unlikely member of Yale’s freshman class. Raised in the Los Angeles hinterlands by a hippie mom, Alex dropped out of school early and into a world of shady drug-dealer boyfriends, dead-end jobs, and much, much worse. In fact, by age twenty, she is the sole survivor of a horrific, unsolved multiple homicide. Some might say she’s thrown her life away. But at her hospital bed, Alex is offered a second chance: to attend one of the world’s most prestigious universities on a full ride. What’s the catch, and why her?

This book is sooooo believable
Reviewed: 11-28-23
I can say what I like about the book is that the world was so real to me. I could see everything that this person was describing in her world and how horrible people can treat children and teens when they don't understand them. When they don't believe them. I hate so much that the main character was always getting soooo hurt. I guess this was part of her growing to be what she who she is going to be in the second book. But very very good narration and soul searching emotionally charged book. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes or considers that there could be other realms than our own. Highly recommend it

A long journey to find you forgotten lovr
Reviewed: 03-21-23
I listened to this book over the course of a couple of days. it kept frustrating me how one person knew that they love this other person, regardless of whether they knew the name of the person or who this person was in their past life. at the end my feelings were so caught up in the two main characters that I almost cried. there were so many tragic things that happened to these lovers, only trying to find each other and convince each other that their love was right and everyone else is wrong. I hope that there might be a part two to this book . I would hate that it would end forever like this . I'd like to know what happened to both characters . worth the credit

Its wasn't what I thought it would be. Overall it was entertaining. The girls were all over the place, like girls or young ladies can be. So it had a realistic feel. Don't look for Well or Sanderson, look for a blend of sci-fi and magic.
