4.5⭐️ I will devour a villainous FMC every time. I really enjoyed the magic in this book. Im a sucker for books with different types of magical affinities. Our MMC is a shadow daddy which is a super plus. I love the murder mystery vibes of this book. The spice was absolutely fantastic! The audiobook was phenomenal and really made me love the book even more.

Story
As the half faerie daughter of a human king, my days were spent tucked out of sight—until the Seelie Fae sought an alliance with our kingdom. In exchange for my father’s help in defeating their Unseelie enemies, I would wed Atakan the heartless. The Seelie prince loathed everyone, but none more than me. Throughout the years leading to our nuptials, each encounter grew more terrifying than the last as he demonstrated how he’d earned his infamous reputation.

I loved this book! It was a great way to close out the year. Mildred is a FMC that has some sass. The plot had me questioning every single thing. I didnt know what the heck was going on until the end. The romance was executed so well. I was absolutely here violent cat and mouse. This was a perfect standalone. It had the perfect balance and felt complete. The epilogue was beautiful and was a perfect ending.

This book had so many things I love in a book. We got a jail break, fake dating, and espionage. I really like Nia as a character, and the narrator did a great job with portraying her. Raphael honestly pissed me off. I dont know... after this book I feel something off with him. I dont know what or why though. Its just a feeling. I actually like Dream Stalker, and I feel like there is so much more to the story than this. The book was fast-paced and full of action. This series has been an interesting take on King Arthur.

Story
I spent five years saving up for a European vacation. But instead of drinking champagne on the beach, I get swept into a war of espionage between the humans and the fey. It turns out, I have a magic power needed to fight an evil fey king. I'm quickly whisked off to an elite spy academy in a hidden realm. There, in the ancient and gothic halls of Avalon Tower, snobbery and brutal competitions are among the oldest traditions.

This was a fun book. It was written in such a humorous way. The narrations were done so well. There were fey and demi-fey. I love that the FMC gets thrusted into a spy academy. It is also an interesting take on the story of Camelot. Im also very interested in the Dream Stalker, and what part they still have to play. It was a slower burn and I am excited to see what this romance brings.

It was a little slow in the beginning, but it really built the foundation of their relationship. Arranged marriage that worked out perfectly. I like that there are so many different types of fae. Our MMC is the sweetest cinnamon roll. My man built her a library! Like come one. I loved the found family and character growth for Skadi. Welcome to a family of thieves!

I loved chase between mentor and apprentice. The found family.. ugh I love the found family trope so much. Kipp and Cal really had Thea's back. The revelation shocked me but I always knew something was a little fishy with that one. The romance and spice is so good. Imma a sucker for angry spice. Thea did it and I wonder how her question will play into the story. The audiobook did have a static sound in the background, but it wasnt too bad.

I thought the audiobook was done well, and I like both narrators.

What an amazing ending! After the ending of book 3 I was so stressed out 😰 This book was twisty and had my heart racing. You never knew what was going to happen. The found family in this series was truly amazing. The character development throughout the series was amazing. Nadir is definitely top book boyfriend. Lor is one of my favorite FMCs. After EVERYTHING she endured she deserved this. The plot was phenomenally crafted and this is definitely a new GOD-TIER series ❤️
