Story
Make sure the kids aren’t around! Just because you’re a grown-up doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the art of the children’s bedtime story. Nick Offerman presents this collection of 12 short stories written in the style of a classic kids' tale, but with a decidedly dark and adult approach. What really happened after Snow White died, from the perspective of the one medically trained dwarf? A naive wizard professor reports back from the trenches of an underprivileged school of magic. And much more!

This was a freebook that I enjoyed. The stories were short and told by some talented voice actors. Overall rating: amusing.

As a long time Simpson‘s van I was excited to read his secrets and stories about Springfield. Unfortunately, as the title states, and I didn’t bother to pay attention to the stories told in this book may or may not be true. The author ones everybody in the title but I thought it was a joke. Until the very end of the book when he confirms that everything he told in the Book could be a lie. But there were a lot of funny jokes and cool stories, if they were real. Overall, find a better Simpson’s book.

Another Matthew J Kirby the review

This was my fourth Matthew up at 8:30 book from audible and I have to say, they just get better and better! This was a great book for young and old. I say that because it was meant for a younger audience. But I found the murder in mystery to be very entertaining. And I am I am old man. The story was very descriptive in its surroundings and characters and very easy to establish who was going to be the protagonist but kept the Villain a secret until the end.

Another great book by Matthew Kirby!

This is only the fourth book I have read by Matthew Kirby but I’m noticing a style to his writing technique. It is so authentic and believable you feel as though you are there at the time in the story with the cast. The guy who read this book seemed to embody the offer! It was almost as though he was made to read this book. As for the story, it was very old-fashioned but so fun to follow! If you enjoy stories of early America, you’ll love this one! I am hoping there will be a sepal with this writer and storyline.

I really enjoy this author in particular, and have loved all of his previous books that I have read, but this one just did not strike the same chord. The story was all right and the buildup was good but the end product did not satisfy me. It was kind of a ridiculous ending for what could’ve been a great book. But, this is just my opinion.

Reviewed: 03-30-18
This book was a great summer read for me! It was suspenseful enough to keep me hooked on every word! Although it was only slightly confusing with the narrative being told by three points of view, it was still suspenseful and surprising in the end.

Story
Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk is a novel made up of stories: 23 of them, to be precise. Twenty-three of the most horrifying, hilarious, mind-blowing, stomach-churning tales you'll ever encounter, sometimes all at once. They are told by people who have answered an ad headlined "Writers' Retreat: Abandon Your Life for Three Months", and who are led to believe that here they will leave behind all the distractions of "real life" that are keeping them from creating the masterpiece that is in them.

This book was a little difficult for me to follow in the beginning. The stories were a far out and hard to get into. But it out midway through I realized what the whole story was about and enjoyed it rather immensely. The narrator‘s for this book were great at depicting the characters in the story is.
