Story
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Story
The most translated book in the world after the Bible, the Tao Te Ching, or “Book of the Tao,” is a guide to cultivating a life of peace, serenity, and compassion. Through aphorisms and parable, it leads readers toward the Tao, or the “Way”: harmony with the life force of the universe. Traditionally attributed to Lao-tzu, a Chinese philosopher thought to have been a contemporary of Confucius, it is the essential text of Taoism, one of the three major religions of ancient China.

Story
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

I’m Not Crying You’re Crying

Beautifully inspiring, and honest to almost a fault. Listening to this as someone who’s struggled with mental health for half of my life I felt targeted personally with how accurate the depictions of depression and mental health are. Nora is a badass and I admire her for everything that she is, which is such a beautiful contrast to the subject of sadness and depression. The narrator does an outstanding job at transforming the story into pure poetry. Which makes the experience the masterpiece that it is. I finished the whole book in a few days, which is more of a binge than anything I’ve watched on Netflix in months. Thank you Matt and Carey from the bottom of my heart. 10/10 would recommend a friend 🤌🏻✨
