I didn't think a book about completing a gathering quest would be very entertaining but it was. Nice job.

Leslie was wonderful narrating this book. She made me like kenders even though I naturally distrust them and have to keep my eye on my pouches. The story was great, characters were deep and meaningful. I hope there's another trilogy to continue from where this book ends.

I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

This book was so much fun to listen to! Not reading the summary or reviews before I bought it, I didn't know what I was getting into, nor how awesome it would be. If you want to laugh at characters that are as real and socially awkward as we all really are, this is the book for you. The book examines themes such as love, death, friendship, hopelessness, hope, and science of course.

Now it has become terrifyingly clear that the Chimes have the potential to bring down all that Richard and Kahlan have worked to protect, and even the power of the Sword of Truth may not be enough to stem the tide of their unleashed magical force. But if the Chimes cannot be stopped, first they will ravage Richard and Kahlan, then all of D'Hara, and then the entire world.

This story was entirely of politics and felt like it dragged on forever. Had I not thought something good was somewhere in the dung, I would have discarded it and read something else. Alas, I finished it. Terrible waste of time. Great narrator though.

Story
The audio edition of the new novel from New York Times best-selling author Margaret Weis. The audio edition of the opening title in a new trilogy from Dragonlance setting co-creator Margaret Weis takes up where the War of Souls series left off with the central character, Mina. While following her story, this new trilogy also explores the chaos that is post-war Krynn. This is Weis’s first solo trilogy in the Dragonlance world.
