This book was sooo good, something I did not expect to enjoy as much as I did. The story, language level and narrator were all excellent. Couldn’t “put it down.”

Very good but at times preachy

I enjoyed the book. Knowing that a former president was involved in the writing added to the experience and lended the story a measure of authenticity. My only problem is that it was “preachy” at times but I still recommend it.

Good book -Jody Picolt seldom disappoints-just a tad too preachy and there were parts I had to suspend my disbelief. But I am glad I read it.

I enjoyed the book-found myself laughing out loud at times and cringing at others.
The reason I took off points for it is that ...well, I won't give away the end and it is definitely worth reading in any case

Where does Gone Girl rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's definitely one of the better books I have listened to.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
In the beginning Nick sounded so wimpy that I didn't think I would manage to finish listening but that definitely changed with all the plot twists.
Which scene was your favorite?
No favorite but I liked the descriptions of the dynamics of their marriage
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
"Marital bliss" redefined

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

creating fuzz out of a human mind
Reviewed: 12-22-09
Very entertaining and as usual for Dan Brown, full of interesting little details- a little too full for an audio book, an abridged version might have been better. And I totally agree with previous reviews that it got too long after the main plot was resolved. I kept thinking that in print I might have enjoyed it more as I could better absorb the tidbits which were interesting enought that I would like to remember them but find my mind turned to fuzz at some point

I have read the book many times over the years and seen different versions of it in movies/video. This adio book captured perfectly the essence and nuances of the book and brought this listener into the drawing rooms and conversations of the characters. I actually cringed with embarrassment for Elizabeth in the relevant parts and laughed out loud at others. A truly wonderful experience!
