Story
Patric Gagne realized she made others uncomfortable before she started kindergarten. Something about her caused people to react in a way she didn’t understand. She suspected it was because she didn’t feel things the way other kids did. Emotions like fear, guilt, and empathy eluded her. For the most part, she felt nothing. And she didn’t like the way that “nothing” felt.

Fantastic book and it definitely wasn't what I thought it would be. I have an entirely different opinion on "sociopaths" and I feel like there are way more people out there that can relate to most of the sociopath tendencies, including myself

Story
Our ability to prevent and reverse these conditions—and feel incredible today—is under our control and simpler than we think. The key is our metabolic function—the most important and least understood factor in our overall health. As Dr. Casey Means explains in this book, nearly every health problem we face can be explained by how well the cells in our body create and use energy. To live free from frustrating symptoms and life-threatening disease, we need our cells to be optimally powered so that they can create “good energy,” the essential fuel that impacts every aspect of our wellbeing.

Good in depth book about overall health
Reviewed: 10-24-24
A little in depth at times but the overall message was clear. Working as a Registered Dietitian, I'm absolutely loving the successful Doctors taking a different approach and focusing more on nutrition as a first line of defense. I feel like there's going to be a revolution soon when it comes to overall health because what we're doing now hasn't worked for a very long time. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an unbiased opinion regarding overall health and how to improve it with little to no medication.

Great book for anyone looking for an edge physically or mentally. This book wasn't just for the competitive athlete, rather anyone trying to improve in any area of life. The author focused way more on the metal side than the physical side. Highly recommended.

An overall great look at longevity and how to bio hack your health along with a great section on emotional health, something most of us don't realize is just as important. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it was a little too in depth at times. Will definitely recommend to other health conscious readers

Loved the information on fasting, something that is not practiced as much as it should. Being an endurance athlete, I would've liked to see a little more information/recommendations for the general population and athletes rather than just focusing in on the chronically obese/ill people. The narrator could use some work as well. Overall a great book

I've heard good things about this one and I tried a couple times to get into it. I just couldn't keep up or comprehend a lot of the information while listening. Maybe I'll try actually reading the book sometime and see if it'd be easier to understand.

From Andre Agassi, one of the most beloved athletes in history and one of the most gifted men ever to step onto a tennis court, a beautiful, haunting autobiography. Agassi brings a near-photographic memory to every pivotal match and every relationship. Never before has the inner game of tennis and the outer game of fame been so precisely limned. In clear, taut prose, Agassi evokes his loyal brother, his wise coach, his gentle trainer, all the people who help him regain his balance and find love at last with Stefanie Graf.

His awesome investment record has made him a cult figure popularly known for his seeming contradictions: a billionaire who has a modest lifestyle, a phenomenally successful investor who eschews the revolving-door trading of modern Wall Street, a brilliant dealmaker who cultivates a homespun aura.

Have been interested in Warren Buffett since I got into the stock market and this book did not disappoint. Didn't really know much about him, especially his ability to find value in products/companies that are usually over looked. I also learn a lot that I will use in my own investing strategies. Very well written and very well read.
