The monotone narrator and 1st person writing is nothing like her other 2 series which I loved!

I loved all of the Myrtlewood Mysteries and the first Crone book. I’ve read up to 8 and so excited for 9. I was very interested in the Dreamrealm books. The narrator is too monotone with no inflection and this is not written like the other books. I just started ch 4 and I am done with this series. If I could get my credit back I would. ☹️ I will listen to the rest of the Crone series.
