Why are men of questionable morals so sexy. And trust me, the sexual tension between Vaughn and Smoke is delicious.

There is plenty of action - a la Motorcycle Gang - but the soul-deep need these two had for each other made it hella romantic. Seriously the forbidden romance vibes were off the charts!!

They are both really interesting men, with complex pasts, some of Smoke’s comes back to cause some trouble. And I really liked Vaughn’s father.

I highly recommend the audiobook Tristan James and Iggy Toma as narrators make it all the more delicious.

A pair with a past, and a bumpy reunion. The tension between these two is exquisite.

It may have been one night but it left a lasting impression on both Jet and Soren. Now it’s time to see if they can figure out what comes next. While fake dating of course.

It’s a wildly entertaining story and captures so many great moments, lots of snark, and definitely some epic chemistry. But what lasts is how perfect they are together and how beautifully they support each other.

A great addition to the series with plenty of great moments with some of our other favourites.

It’s also great as an audiobook. Narrator by the dynamic duo - Iggy Toma & Alexander Cendese.

These two first meet in the worst way. A fender-bender that brings out the worst in them. Jeff’s car is a treasured possession, a final reminder of his father. And Mika is having the worst day, receiving news that rocks his world.

A year later they run into each other in Lighthouse Bay, which sends off a sort of frenemies relationship. But really, they are both lovely guys whose emotional reactions brought out the worst of them. However, it’s nothing that a little forced proximity and holiday spirit

Before you know it, they are making a schmoopy dream team!

Lighthouse Bay is a quaint small town with a love of the holidays and some pretty special people.

Narrated by Aaron Hokanson - you’ll also do well to listen to the audiobook

Zach has a crush on his grade 3 teacher, now the town handyman. He fills out a pair of jeans perfectly and really knows how to use his tools!

I enjoyed Zach. He really embodies a young man on the precipice of his future. His drive and passion was palpable. He’s back home helping his sister at the family cafe while trying to find a job that will utilize his degree and talents. What he’s really missing though is connection with someone special.

Holland is a gem of a man. Kind-hearted, giving, and talented. Though he’s attracted to Zach, he’s understandably a little apprehensive about the age gap. But as they work on the town Christmas parade, they develop a friendship and real feelings which is what they both need.

It’s a slow burn, set amongst the fun and chaos of small-town holiday preparations, with lots of great side characters.

I adore a good Christmas romance and this one doesn’t disappoint, it’s got everything I love about them. A small town, with some intriguing and quirky characters, wintery good times, and lots of sweet treats. The narration by Aaron Hokanson is equally wonderful. Amy has used him before. He has a lovely voice and is such a great fit for Amy’s style and characters.

Another wonderful addition to a favourite series. It has everything you could want from a Lucy Lennox story - humour, wacky aunts, gorgeous human beings (inside and out), and plenty of beautiful love. This whole series is built off of found family…a family that keeps growing in such tremendous ways.

There are a lot of wild antics but there is also plenty of stirring emotions. Dante’s life before the Marian’s is heartbreaking, and AJ’s involvement as a real-life superhero is beautiful. As is their connection.

I loved Dante learning to own his past, and take control, but I also appreciated the support he took from AJ in the process.

It’s going to be really sad when I’ve finished this series.

If you're into audiobooks, be sure to check out this one. Michael Dean really seems to get Lucy's writing style and humour.

This was a perfect audiobook to liven up my work day. It was sweet, and flirty, and contained two lovely men finding their person. Exactly what the romance doctor ordered. It’s also narrated by Joel Leslie, so you know it’s going to be a great listen.

Danny and Eliot are not what either expected when they were thrown together for Danny’s coming out story. Eliot only agreed to author the story because it was a chance to further his writing career, otherwise, he would never voluntarily hang out with a hockey player. Jocks have not been his friend over the years.

But Danny is Danny, and Eliot can’t help but like the guy. He’s sweet and a little shy. And Eliot can’t stop thinking about him. So faking a relationship seems like a no-brainer.

They are quite cute together. They enjoy the quiet moments together just as much as the steamy nights. And protecting and rooting for each other comes so naturally.

It’s a lovely story and would be a great read on a sunny weekend.

A fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable audiobook. Sharp, witty, and flirtatious.

Joanna & Sally’s writing styles are perfectly suited to narration, and believe me, narrator Simon Goldhill is absolutely wonderful.

English charm, a gorgeous gardener and a young model trying to make his career. Things are about to get messy, and not just from digging in the ground.

It doesn’t take long to see how great these two would be together, and how horribly things could go wrong! Social media and the TV industry can be toxic and with every hashtag and selfie, with every manager and TV producer, more and more of yourself is given over to others, and that can be a scary place. Especially if you are a salt-of-the-earth type who barely knows what a hashtag is.

I’m always a big fan of stories where they both have faults and/or make mistakes. I like the equal footing it brings to a relationship.

There’s also a super satisfying ending to all the drama!

"It's you, Whit. Don't know why you can't get that through your super-smart brain. I'm obsessed with you."

These two were a delight to read/listen to. I love a straight man who eagerly embraces his interest in a man. Seriously, Caleb is a really hilarious and pretty adorable golden retriever. A Whit is a mysterious and quiet man who has his secrets and does his best to keep his distance from Caleb. But really, I don’t think anyone could resist Caleb.

There are serious undertones to the story and some heartbreak, but it’s beautiful too. The way Caleb wins over Whit’s trust, the patience he shows him, and the care he takes to give him everything he’s been missing is wonderful.

Also, Caleb’s family is completely amazing, the way they take to Whit is something special, even if the brothers are a little wild with no sense of boundaries.

"This is my life now. I should have never talked to you at that coffee shop. Now I'm surrounded by big dudes who are slightly sociopathic."

Truly a wonderfully written story and a pretty stellar job by narrators Liam DiCosimo and Alexander Cendese. I was just as taken by the story as I was by their performance.

Oh my gosh, this was such a perfect, happy, loving story. I adored the men, the baby, and the best friends and family.

I don’t get baby fever, but GAH!, this really is the cutest story. Gideon is such a fantastic human being who is in over his head (as a new single parent is bound to be), and despite feeling like he needs to do it all, realizes he’s going to need help.

Enter Toby, nanny extraordinaire, who is the most delightful person. Sunny, optimistic, and such an amazing support for Gideon. Not just by doing the work, but by reassuring him and helping to steady him.

Also, Toby’s family … *chef’s kiss* I’m so happy Gideon found a whole extended family in Toby. This little family they’ve created is a dream and makes me a little gooey inside.

And let's talk about Glen Lloyd’s narration. That man is such a perfect pairing for NR Walker, does an outstanding job on this story. The voices, the timing, the characterizations, all perfect. I may also have a major crush on him, that voice…sigh.

This is absolutely one of those stories that I’d want to reread/relisten to when you need a pick me up.

The Made Marian series is one of the best out there, which is why I have been dragging it out. No one wants it to be over. It’s hard not to fall for the Marian family. And Maverick is no different, especially when we see him with Beau.

Maverick’s grandmother left him to go into foster care when his parents died. Thankfully he found his way to the amazing Marian family, but the rejection has always stung. It also meant leaving Beau, his childhood best friend. When they are reunited at the funeral it’s like no time and all the time has passed.

It’s a healing story, with one very lovely local and a boy who gets a chance at love and peace.

Seriously, Beau is a fantastic human, even if a little too eager. I loved the growth both of these men went through. And of course, the Marian family is always their amazing supportive selves.

Michael Dean does a wonderful job of narrating this story. He seems to understand the characters and delivers their story convincingly.
