Story
When Aiden and Dani meet on his college campus, their playful banter and physical chemistry immediately draw them to each other. It's easy for one accidental meet-cute to become a standing date, and for a certain understanding to develop between them. Because neither one of them has any interest in anything serious. Over time, their physical relationship blossoms into an actual friendship. Before long, they're texting for no reason, meeting each other's friends, and spending nights together that don't end between the sheets.

I want all of you.
Reviewed: 01-29-25
I loved reading the e-book when it came out but listening to it was the cherry on top. It’s romance, steam, sweetness, and sports, with a side of he falls first and banter that will keep you coming back for more.
Aiden and Dani are perfect together, and I loved them in Vanessa and Alex's voices.
Dani is everything I want to be and the BFF I want to have in my corner. I love her sass and confidence, and her vulnerability made her real. Vanessa was absolutely perfect showcasing every side of her.
Aiden is dirty-talking, alpha perfection with a side of heart. He’s self-confident, which makes it even better when he falls first. It’s hard not to fall in love with him, and from the hottest scenes to the most honest ones, Alex was incredible.
Aiden is a student, Dani is a photojournalist. They meet on campus, when she's there shooting some candids, and you better be ready for their meet-cute. I loved that Dani's wild side brought out Aiden's.
When they meet again, wow. I know everyone talks about Chapter 8, but did you hear that alley scene? When you listen to it, please let me know your favorite. For science?
This thing between them seamlessly progresses into friends with benefits. They’re perfect together, but neither of them wants more. Except Aiden starts to feel different. Still, he doesn’t push because he’ll take her any way he can have her.
Something happens, and the lines between them get blurry until they disappear. And that’s when I really fell for Aiden—and Alex. Because it was all there in his voice: the way he puts himself on the line for Dani and what he’s feeling.
While Dani takes a while to see what they have, when she does, when she fights for him—Vanessa, I fell in love with you too.
And that epilogue… O.M.G.
This is a story about loving someone and allowing them to complete you. I thought I couldn’t love it more. This audiobook proved me wrong.

All I am is yours. Brokenness and all.
Reviewed: 01-15-25
This was my favorite book of Catherine’s so far, which resulted in an amazing audiobook. Not surprising. At. All.
Erin and Connor were perfect as Sutton and Cope.
Sutton is doing her best to raise her son, Luca. He wants to play hockey just like his idol, The Reaper. Well, The Reaper is none other than Copeland Colson, and he’s in town to coach the kids at summer hockey camp.
When he sees her dropping off Luca, it changes something in him.
Connor Crais is one of my favorites, and for a good reason. Cope is more than just a hockey player—he has a few demons and he recognizes Sutton as struggling. It’s all there in Connor’s voice: the way he admires her right from the start, the way he wants to be there and help. The longing.
Erin gave Sutton her strength. The one that comes from overcoming so much and wanting to stand on her own two feet. From wanting to be the best mom she can be. She also gave Sutton the vulnerability she needed to allow Cope in and the toughness to fight for him.
When she has nowhere to go, Cope comes to the rescue. Opening up his house to Sutton and Luca is a no-brainer. Especially since having them there means the house doesn’t feel so empty anymore. It feels like a home.
It takes them a while, but they are HOT. Is it better in audio? You bet! Desks and boxing bags and the penchant for destroying her underwear… These narrators are perfect.
They’re also perfect in all the feeling that surrounds this book. There’s guilt and grief, needing somewhere—someone—to belong to. There’s allowing someone to step in and help, to provide comfort, to lend their strength. There’s letting someone close enough to tear down your walls.
Hearing all of it? Too good to put into words.
You know there’s always a romantic suspense element and the whodunit adds to their story. It unites them further, turning what they have into a safe harbor from any storm.
I also need to mention the ability of portraying different characters because this is always something that amazes me when listening to a book. It shouldn’t. Not when the narrators are this talented, because… wow.
Finding someone who wants to stand by you, go to bat for you, and hold you when the world fails you while caring for your child just like he's theirs is not easy. Sutton and Cope found it. I was lucky enough to listen to it.

Story
Playing the part of my sister’s maid of honor is easy even if she’s marrying my ex. But playing nice with the best man? An impossible task given our history. Sure, Luke Darling may be suspiciously kind, incredibly handsome, and stubborn to a fault, but regardless of how hard he tries to make me see otherwise, I’m not interested. It’s on me to remind him that he’s my ex-boyfriend’s best friend. And the one I’m secretly starting to wish I met first.

I think I could love you forever.
Reviewed: 12-19-24
Christmas is always better with a Lauren Asher novella. Wait, that almost rhymes. Right?
Listening to it was the cherry on top. Vanessa Vasquez and Noah B. Perez are quickly becoming my go-to duet couple.
Catalina is back in Lake Wisteria for her sister’s wedding, where she’ll be the maid of honor. The best man? Well, that’s Luke. Dr. Darling, if you will. And while Cata doesn’t like him, he feels drawn to her. Every time she snaps at him or gives him sarcasm, he loves it more. And it was hard to keep the smile from my face at that.
Vanessa has all the sass of a very independent, knows-what-she-wants Catalina while showing both her incredible strength and her most vulnerable side—the one she likes to keep hidden. The one Luke sees.
And Noah… Luke is the perfect acts-of-service guy, and Noah became him. Even as I was eyeball-reading it, I could hear his voice in my head. You want someone who can give you he-falls-first vibes with just the tone of his voice? That’s Noah.
Against all odds, they become closer. He starts tearing out her walls with some coffee, advice on her maid of honor speech, and just… being there. Not because he has to, but because he wants to. Because he wants her. If only she lets him in.
This audio had me all up in my feels with the jokes and sarcasm that hide feelings and more feelings. I loved listening as they became friends, listening to Noah as Luke tries (and fails) to stay away and to Vanessa wondering what to do when Cata is unsure herself.
What really got to me was how he never gave up. She pushed him away and he kept coming back. She saw herself as undeserving and cold and he showed her she wasn’t, just as he showed her he’d wait for her.
The small details, the nostalgia, the Christmas spirit, the feelings, the love and the—yes—magic were there in Noah and Vanessa’s voices. I could listen to them and this novella all day.
Because Christmas is a sad time for me, and they made me believe in that magic. I’ll always be grateful for that.
Amazing book, incredible narration.

What's better than a sunny beach vacation for my winter break? Maybe being snowed in with a gorgeous stranger…. Let’s go to the beach for winter break, my sorority sisters said. It will be a blast, they said. Sand, salt water, hot surfers. What more could I want for the holidays? Well. Nobody considered the chance for a winter storm grounding all flights, changing my layover from hours to days and leaving me utterly stranded.

A short audiobook to get you in the holiday spirit.
Cassie is off to Hawaii for the holidays, but her flight gets canceled due to snow. Stuck in Denver with hotels fully booked, the airport bartender tells her she can stay at her nan’s B&B. Not exactly what she had in mind, but it’ll have to do.
After the exams, Nolan is back home. In this case, home is his mom’s house—the same B&B where Cassie is staying.
There’s an instant attraction and lots of chemistry, so we know where this is going.
Read by Alexis Paige and Grayson Owens, it was my first time listening to either of them. I loved Cassie’s sweetness and how flustered she got at Nolan’s proximity, and that came out amazingly in Alexis’s voice.
Grayson was perfect at showing how gone Nolan is for Cassie. While the physical is great, he wants to laugh with her, spend time with her, and mostly, he wants her not to leave for Hawaii once the weather clears.
The Christmas vibes—and Nan!—were everything. I loved his family and how they welcomed Cassie into the fold because she never had one like theirs. I can relate.
For reasons I won’t spoil, she goes to Hawaii and they get separated. But Nolan inspired Cassie to go for what she wants, and you can hear the shift in Alexis’s voice. I was enthralled with how Grayson handled Nolan when he got Cassie back. His feelings and how he never forgot her were there, and I’m a sucker for that.
The epilogue was perfect.
“Shuffle the deck” is now one of my favorite sayings. Whatever cards life gives you, make sure to keep shuffling. Who knows what the next hand will bring?

There’s nothing like listening to an audiobook after you’ve read it. I know, during makes for an immersive experience, but after, when you know all the emotional parts… You can allow the feelings to wash over you.
Aiden Snow and Savannah Peachwood are Melissa’s go-to narrators and I knew they would be perfect. Aiden’s voice goes from growly to swoony whenever he’s around Baby Braden to full-on hotness in those perfect moments with Emerson.
And Savannah… If you’re a fan of strong heroines, she never disappoints, and her sweet voice can also give you Emerson’s vulnerability and caring nature.
They make for the perfect slow-burn and will have you wanting to push them together!
A very pregnant Emerson goes to Baz’s vet clinic to make sure nothing’s wrong with her pup after he ate some chocolate chip cookies. While Ollie is fine, there’s something about Em that intrigues Baz, and she’s not immune to his dimples either.
When she goes into labor, Baz delivers her baby. It’s sweet and fun between them, with jokes, innuendo, and a sense of something clicking into place.
Baz gets too involved, especially considering he isn’t her son’s father. But it doesn’t matter—the kid has him wrapped around his little finger, and the way he’s there for them was everything.
They become close, and the smiles, smirks, touches, and small moments between them and Little B warmed my heart.
I loved the way he loves her. And while Aiden helps Baz live up to his last name, Savannah was spot on in portraying a heroine who knows what she wants. It was hot and romantic and beautiful, and I loved the smiles that came through in Savannah's voice.
Another big part of this story is learning to handle grief and celebrating the people you've lost. It was comforting and even more meaningful in audio.
If you're looking for an audiobook where two people find the love, strength—and family—they need, this is it.

Listening to this audiobook only made me miss the Steeles more. Savannah and Jacob were absolute perfection (I mean, what’s new, right?). At the same time, and because I read this back in July, it also made me miss the summer. And weirdly—made me want to go on a few adventures.
I mean, we all would if we had Flynn Braden looking out for us!
Flynn is Sutton’s boss. They don’t get along, which means that suddenly having to spend a few days with him alone in the Amazonian rainforest with only one tent is a recipe for disaster.
Maybe.
I was laughing out loud at their banter and incessant innuendo—to be honest, it’s more like a mating dance for them. In audio, it’s even better. Savannah’s sassy Sutton and Jacob’s growly Flynn turn their dislike into something else—and a lot of fun! They’re able to embody their attraction and their annoyance at this forced proximity, as well as their (finally) giving in.
I loved everything between them, but especially the way they opened up about themselves and their families. How it went beyond physical.
When they come back to reality, they try to pretend not to like each other again. Not possible. Listening to their phone calls and the longing in these narrators’ voices took it to a whole different level. In audio, Flynn’s jealousy, Sutton staking her own claim on him, and the way they’d do anything to be together take on a new dimension. And, from waterfalls and a tent to a bed, Jacob and Savannah make their steamy moments take on an emotional quality, even when they haven’t said those three little words.
You get the whole Steele family and their pranks, including the kids, and while I know multiple voices are challenging for narrators, you could easily distinguish between them—and I loved it. And that treasure hunt, the bonfire, and things better than hazelnut coffee—come on, Morgan and Peachwood! You had me swooning!
Passion, adventure, fun, friendship, stories with pigs making ham sandwiches, and a lot of love and an inescapable happily ever after… This was a real treat.

There wasn't, and will never be, anyone else.
Reviewed: 11-12-24
Nikki Castle blew me away the first time I read this. But listening to it? It’s too good!
This is the story of Hailey and Jax and how two friends become everything. It’s also an example of what gaslighting is and how it can make you feel. And finally, it’s a story of being with the right person. The one who can only make you feel like you’re everything.
These two are perfect together. What makes it even more perfect? Emma Wilder and JF Harding.
Emma is incredible. She gives us a tour of Hailey’s relationship with her ex that feels real. She shows us Hailey’s strength when she leaves him behind and takes charge of her life. She shows us her power every time she tells Jax what she wants.
JF Harding is the perfect Jax. He’s the hot, self-assured, in-control MMA fighter, but also the sweet, protective friend. The guy who’s always been there for Hailey and who can’t stop thinking about her. The guy who finally gives her what she wants and loves all sides of her.
Also… JF Harding nails “baby girl,” but my favorite was actually “quiet.”
Hailey and Jax have known each other forever. Now that she's single and they spend more time together, the lines between friendship and more become blurry.
Their chemistry was amazing in the book but insane in the audio. The way Jax empowers her, the way she asks for what she wants without fear of judgment, knowing she’s safe with him. It was heartwarming while being so, so HOT.
What got to me more in the audio was how Jax only wants her to be happy, even when it hurts him. Chapter 26 broke me. We all deserve, and I wish we all had, a Jax in our lives.
Listening to Hailey's journey? Incredible. Listening to Jax give her everything, even what she didn’t realize she needed? Extraordinary.
Their happily ever after? Perfect.

Torren King is rock-and-roll’s broodiest bachelor. Mysterious, moody, and coveted by nearly everyone. But to me, he’s just the sad boy who set fire to my heart, then reduced me to ashes in the desert. For four sweltering nights, I burned for him, and he conquered my heart one whispered lyric at a time. But on the fifth night, he shattered me in the way only a flawless rock god can: irreparably, and with devastating finesse.

Thank you, Brit Benson, for this book. Thank you, Stephen Dexter and Stella Hunter. You helped me live Torren and Callie’s love. Not many duets are perfect. This one really felt like it.
The Hometown Heartless attracts all sorts of crazies. Due to one of those, Torren needs a fake girlfriend who can draw their attention elsewhere.
It should be fine with Callie, especially since she can’t stand him and needs the money, but with their past… It's complicated.
The first time they met was four years ago at a music festival. There was something different between them even then. But he broke her heart, and if she lets him close, he’ll do it again. Especially since he doesn’t remember her.
So it has to be fake. Except it doesn’t feel like it, especially when they finally explore the connection that’s always been there.
Stephen Dexter is Torren in every way. In the way Torren falls for Callie and how he’s wanted her for so long, in his protective streak, his support, his reassurance even—especially—when things go sour. His fear broke me.
Stella brings Callie to light. The heartbroken girl who lost everything but still rolled with the punches to help her family. Her insecurities, her jealousy, her unawareness of what they are and where they stand.
Callie’s initial hate of Torren and his longing for her are much more obvious in audio. I fell in love with them all over again. With their story and its twists and turns, with how much they want and how hot they burn for each other, with the steamy scenes that incinerated my earbuds. With their pain, desperation, and finally happiness.
These two narrators brought tears to my eyes when they showed me Torren and Callie won’t allow themselves to be kept apart again. Whatever comes, they can lean on each other and come back stronger every time. “Let me play your bass notes,” had me crying. IYKYK.
Nothing about their love story is common. They have the kind of love that brings light into the darkness. The kind people write songs about.
And the song they wrote... it's perfect.

A single mom story you need in your life!

There’s nothing like a great audiobook to further cement the idea that I am absolutely loving this series. And that I want to move to Bitterroot Valley. Anyone wanna join me?
Because… All. The. Feels!
From previous books, you know Abbi has a crush on the cowboy that is very much reciprocated and how much he loves Daisy, her daughter. However, it’s not easy for him to have a relationship—he’s away a lot due to work and his job is dangerous—and Abbi is afraid to let people in after what happened to her in her past.
Samantha Brentmoor and Zachary Webber were masterful in bringing these characters to life. You get all the growliness and hotness factor from Brady (and there’s a lot of it!), but also the swoony, tender moments he shares with Daisy (they melted my heart) and his protective instinct toward both of them. Zach is amazing at voicing kids, and if you don’t know Samantha’s male voice yet—you’re in for a treat!
Samantha is the perfect Abbi, from the moments where she needs to be strong to those where she’s the most vulnerable. The way she voices Abbi’s past trauma… It brought tears to my eyes. And the way she finally lets herself be loved… It’s inspiring.
When they finally kiss, it’s on. It doesn’t matter how much Brady tries to stay away—they need each other.
They were both steamy and 100% perfect in both voices. And let’s not forget the way Brady loves her curvy body and how much he shows her she’s beautiful to him until she starts believing it. I don’t think other narrators could pull this off the way these two did.
While both are afraid of what can happen if they’re together, the inevitability of them stole the show for me. And that moment when Daisy asks if he will be her daddy… Oh, come on, that was just unfair! Zach stole my heart with that one.
While Abbi needs to come clean about her past and will need to face it, Brady is a man who will fight for what they have. Their found family was one of my favorite things. And I love it when only two narrators can play so many voices and make them distinct.
The definition of talent: something Sam and Zach have in spades!
Abbi and Brady needed each other. They needed their person—the someone who makes it all worth it.
And I needed this audiobook in my life.

I read this book back in 2021, and listening to it brought back all the feelings. Saying Connor and Desiree were perfect is an understatement.
Trent is still my favorite AL Jackson MMC. He’s protective and grumpy, and the best father. Underneath the weight he’s carrying, he’s everything. And Connor—from the grumbles and growls to the moments with his son Cage, he was amazing.
Eden is so sweet, so good you’d think she and Trent would never fit in. But there’s something about her that brings it home. She’s the light to his dark, and Desiree… She’s incredible. Whenever she voiced little Cage, I melted.
A family situation leads Eden to Trent’s bar to ask for a job. You can feel the want between them, but he’s the ultimate bad boy and she’s the good girl, so they run from it. Except Eden is his son’s kindergarten teacher, so they can’t escape each other. I desperately wanted them to be together, especially with the longing in the narrators’ voices. Trent and Eden are not opposites. They’re perfect.
Connor’s voice was raw and tortured as he dug deep into Trent's past and embodied the way Trent feels undeserving of someone like Eden. And Desiree shows Eden's vulnerability, heart, and strength flawlessly.
I loved their all-encompassing love. I loved their love for little Cage. It’s so obvious, so present, so... there. And the steamy scenes… I mean, have you heard Connor Crais? If you have, then, enough said. And Desiree—I mean, Eden—oh, she knows what she wants and is not afraid to go for it. You can hear the physical pull, the chemistry, but the emotional pull as well, which to me is everything.
I also loved Trent with his brothers and how you could tell which brother it was. Connor does different voices really well.
Without spoilers, their past comes back to haunt them, to threaten what they have, and while it could break them up, it only pushes them together into their HEA.
This audiobook checked all my boxes. A protective single dad who would do anything for his woman and son, a loyal heroine with a big heart, steam, heartbreak and pain, but then forever, all wrapped up in these two very talented voices. Highly recommended.
