The musical interludes were unnecessary. You could take those out and make book better. Thank you so much

What stood out most in this book is just how much shame affects our lives and in so many different ways.

What I liked about the book is the depth of information. What was difficult about the book was the wording. I felt that there were times when the language could have been easier to understand. I love words and the study of words, but in a book that I’m listening to, it would’ve been nice for things to just have been a bit less “doctor” like and more user friendly.

I will be listening to it again to gain some clarity.

I grew up a secessionist myself. What intrigued me most about this book is the authors past and now he was the same and yet changed. I do think there were a couple of liberties taken with some scripture, but overall was a very biblical look at this topic.

Learning the difference between fellowship, and friendship of Holy Spirit, was the most eye-opening part of this book. I will listen again to soak up the richness of other things that I did not find the first time through. I am seeking and asking.

My wife of 37 years passed away in December 20 20. It was the most devastating thing I have ever been through in my life. I truly wish that I had read this book with her. For seven months with cancer, she question things about heaven. My theology did not give her any comfort. This book has rearranged my spiritual furniture about heaven. Wow! Just wow!

This book is filled with practical information, and is very inspiring for pastors like me of small young churches. Our church is growing, but the information in this book will be a blessing to help us not get stuck.

This is one of the most challenging books I’ve read. One simple message. I really appreciate the way Andy is kind of a straight forward author. Just say it like it is brother! Also, I know Jon Gauger is the best reader of an audio book I’ve ever listened to. Kept my attention big time!

I appreciated that the author was so transparent about the struggles in his own life; never pretending to have all the answers but answering some of my questions. Thanks for sharing your heart.
