I have never felt so unsure of a main character.

Coriolanus Snow is confusing! He loves Lucy but loves the Capital. He never truly says what he does or doesn’t support, but his actions and inside thoughts say other wise. I truly don’t think he is a good person just a young boy in love, but never let that love of someone so different than him change his views. I didn’t know Tigris the lady who helps Katniss was Snow’s cousin. She technically raised him, and that’s what he did to her. I’m just very confused, and honestly don’t really like any character is this book. Lucy is cute but way too upbeat for her circumstances. Katniss’s personality was way more believable. The ending is stupid but I get it. Lucy being just “gone” was also stupid! I wish we got to know how she figured it all out. How did she feel about getting shot at by him.

Most bad guys are good to her but bad to everyone else but he was manipulative and honestly creepy. The whole entire time I was reading I just kept getting this creepy feeling like this was some dude I met online that randomly possessive after two encounters. For someone who was on the run, her whole entire life she’s stupid. Idk this book was free so I listened. Definitely won’t be recommending.

All I have to say is I read/listen to this book in one night. I just couldn't sit still I had to do so I ended up finding a free copy of the book online, and I ended up reading Along to the audio. I loved this story and I loved the ending but hate that there isn't a second book.
