Story
Mackenzie—Mack—Owens was supposed to live out every millennial’s dream, but instead it turned into a nightmare. Inheriting a house and bookstore, she was going to leave the New York City rat race after getting fired from her job and start a new life on the coast of Cornwall in England. No more 14-hour work days and rats the size of small toddlers. Hello turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and cobblestone streets. Unfortunately, things don’t exactly go as planned.

Narrator Just Not My Cup of Tea

I am sorry to say that the narrators voice grated on my nerves.
I have fortunately read all of the books of this series previously.
I jumped to the end just so I wouldn't have to listen to the rest.

Nice listen

It's a nice listen. The language is choppy and some phrasing is awkward, almost as if the writer wasn't quite sure of word usage.
still It's a nice listen for a day at the beach.
