Classic Chriton

The differences between the film and the book are remarkable. while the movie is a justifiable blockbuster, the book stand proud in its own right. while parts cab be technical and dry the book builds suspense better and the dinosaurs come across just as menacing. of not more so in the movie. The book has characters die that survive in the film and personalities of a few people are different as well. a definitive recommendation to any book lover

a well acted short tale which builds interest but end far to quickly for any fan of the series.

one of the greatest Clancy books gets a great unabridged audio book. the only thing that could have made it better was more actors for the characters.

Missing a bit of the Cussler magic
Reviewed: 08-25-17
The voice acting was solid but this abridgement leaves out some question solving scenes. As a wholethe excellent narration by Ron McLarty captures most of the story but there are several scenes from the book that are shortend or straight up ommitted completely. Even for a person who owns the book and rereads it regularly, the cuts leave questions with the listener that could have been avoided. Still its a good listen and I would endorse sharing this with anyone who likes the genre.
