I don't like being called a bitch

Why do you say "What up bitches?" fifty times an episode? The 50 times is an estimate by how many times I heard it in the first 5 minutes.
I listened to a few minutes of the first one and
I.
Was.
DONE.

I realize that to some people it is just a greeting and no I don't have a problem with any other swear words-- I am not a total prude, but I would like to think positively about myself when I am trying to make positive changes in my life.
So guess what bitch, I'm out.
(how do you like being called a bitch?)

When you watch a lot of online influencers it looks both easy and impossible to eat right! They grow their own gardens and stay at home while their spouse works and of course has a fabulous high paying job so they never have to worry about money. They make every single thing they eat from scratch, and of course have time to prep a weeks worth of food to go into their $20,000.00 fridge freezer with of course all the right clear glass storage containers arranged like someone came in and did it porfessionally for them.
This is not my life! I scrabble for some kind of breakfast and race to work late, eat a salad and possibly a baked potato for lunch and then after work race home to take my daughter to work as we only have one car. then go do the grocery shopping or maybe try to catch up the laundry and dishes from whenever because I was too tired to do them immediately. How would I make everything from scratch? I rent an apartment, the fridge I have is provided by my landlord, and it sure isn't the size "THEY" have.
Imagine my surprise when Dr. Barnard says we can have CEREAL!! you mean I don't have to grow my own wheat, mill it, and make it into cereal before I can have it?!?!?
This plan sounds both doable and fun, and I can hardlly wait to see my results!

As one can tell from the title there is strong language throughout, but maybe like me that is what you need to understand how you fool yourself into believing you need a lot more stuff than you really do.
since I try not to speak this way, it gave me a little Jolt everytime they said something with, shall we say colorful epithets. There was a lot of really good ideas in it that I believe will help me get off my duff and get busy and clear out useless stuff, before my daughter and other family have to figure out what to do with it after I die.

I love a book filled with science and a little humor!
The narrator read it in a very conversational manner and had a pleasant voice, enunciated well, and handled all those 53 letter medical scientific words with aplomb!

I usually don't like every voice the narrator uses, but this time it seemed to really fit. At one point I wasn't sure I was going to like where the story was headed, but it resolved itself within a chapter or so. Things don't have to end happily for me to enjoy a story, but they have to make sense. this made sense, at least to me.
I definitely recommend this book.

My Daughter and I love the bad ass series

let me preface this by saying I really love these books and how down to earth Jen is... BUT...
My only complaint of the entire series I have heard so far is the pronunciation of the word
ET cetera as EK cetera, it leaves this picky pronuncier (is there such a word?) feeling ragged every time I hear it, which is PLENTY in these books.
I mean it is spelled et-cetera, and abbreviated as ETC. not (ect.) just watch the old movie "The King and I" and see the king learn what etcetera means and how to say it, that's where I learned it at 5 years old.
I realize it is a little thing, but so is a mosquito in your bedroom.
Sorry Jen, I really love the books though.
