Story
When Barney, a clever little dachshund, looks for a place to escape the chaos created as movers load the family's belongings into a moving truck, he discovers a box of warm laundry fresh from the dryer, and burrows himself comfortably inside it. After a refreshing snooze, he awakens to find that his makeshift doggy bed has been loaded onto the truck, and he is already on the way to Denver, Colorado. Although the rest of the family intended to follow the moving truck, when they were unable to locate Barney, they remained in Pueblo, Colorado.

Story
For millennia, dragons and humans have shared the Earth. For most of that time, it has been a peaceful coexistence, primarily because contemporary human civilizations considered dragons to be nothing more than fairytales created from the fanciful imaginings of cave-dwelling hunter-gatherers. In truth, they have always been an integral part of a healthy planetary biosphere, and without them, Earth's environmental balance would have collapsed long ago.

Amazing series!

This is a lovely conclusion to an exceptional series. I like that McFarland found a soul mate for each of the main characters throughout the series. While I know the Pain family stories could go on for ever, I was happy with the way this book wraps up the series.
The narrator is flawless as usual and am amazed by his smooth pronunciation of the dragon names.

This is a very interesting story that gives credit to those who came before us fighting for our right to free speech.
The narrator was good but her voicing of mother takes some getting used to (I almost turned it off in the first chapter)
There are some mixing issues where one character sounds like they whispering and the other screaming thank fully this is not though out the narrative

Story
Maybe it's because she wears wire bread ties in her hair to hold up her pigtails. Or maybe it's due to the fact that her best friend is a key collecting ferret named Lawrence. However, it just might be because she is able to play her clarinet - while it floats in the air untouched! What is clear to all is that Amanda Sneed is different. Amanda just doesn't know why. That is, until something truly splendorific happens. It is upon meeting an enigma of a man and school janitor, Master Hemlock, that Amanda is given a magical gold coin, allowing her to make one wish.
