Title: Feral Shifters: Complete Series (Feral Shifters #1-4
Author: Callie Rose
Format: Audio
Narrators: Lia Holland, CJ Grey
Genre: Paranormal Romance, RH, Shifters (Wolf), Suspense
Standalone: Yes but Amora is a side character in another series
Part of a Series: Feral Shifters Books 1-4
POV: Amora, Kian, Frost, Mallax
Steam Level: Steamy
5/5

I'm so glad I read this series in the box set. The first three stories all ending on cliffhangers and I loved that I didn't have to wait to find out what happened next. This series is full of action, excitement, and steam along with drama, betrayal, and intensity. Wolf shifters, witches, prophecies, magic, adventure and love. So much fun

Book 1: Rejected Mate
POV: Amora
5/5

We meet Amora in Callie Rose's Claimed by Wolves series. While you don't need to read that series I highly recommend it since it's a fabulous series. Also, this book answers the questions left open about Amora as to where she went and why. In Rejected Mate we see when Amora first meets one of her mates and how he rejected her. Now Amora is on the hunt for him and her two other mates on a mission to destroy them before they destroy the world. This first book is action-packed with adventure, steam, and betrayal. Callie Rose knows how to write a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves you guessing and wanting more. Rejected Mate is an amazing start to this series which is proving to be deliciously dark with a side of steam and humor to balance it out.

Book 2: Untamed Mate
POV: Kian, Amora, Frost, Mallix
5/5

Untamed Mate starts right where the first book ends. The mate bond is broken. Or is it? Amora's mission hasn't changed and the search is back on. But things don't go as planned when Amora catches up to the guys. Alliances are formed, bonds are broken and they need to work together to fight a common enemy. The climax of this book is intense and the cliffhanger even worse. Callie Rose kept me guessing throughout and I cannot wait to see what will happen next in this series.

Book 3: Cursed Mate
POV: Amora, Kian, Frost, Mallix
5/5

Cursed Mate starts right where book ends. Holy heck this book was a wild ride New allies are formed and battles are waged and enemies new and old are revealed. I was hooked from the start and cannot wait to see what happens in the series finale..

Title: Claimed Mate
POV: Amora, Mallix, Kian, Frost
5/5

Claimed Mate starts right where the previous book ended. Any oh boy was this book crazy intense. Action-packed with tons of unexpected reveals this book was the perfect ending to this wild series. Amora and the guys cement their relationship, create new allies and encounter old enemies. The climax of this story was unexpected and gripping. I didn't want to stop listening until the end and wanted even more of the HEA. Claimed Mate is a fantastic conclusion to an amazing series.

Title: Claimed by Wolves Complete Series
Author: Callie Rose
Format: Audio
Narrators: Lia Holland, C.J. Grey
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Shifter (Wolf), RH, Fated Mates
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Book s1 to 4 of Claimed by Wolves series (the complete series)
POV: Sable, Ridge, Trystan, Archer, Dare
Steam Level: Hot
5/5

I highly recommend reading this series in the box set, especially if you're like me and don't want to wait to see what happens next. Claimed by Wolves was exciting and intense from the start. Action-packed, emotional, steamy and funny this series has it all. Callie Rose is an amazing writer and love her RH series.

Book 1: Fated Magic
5/5

When Sable runs from her abusive uncle the last thing she expects to find is a wolf shifter. Or rather a whole village of them. Actually three villages since the forth was destroyed by witches. Her world is further rocked when not one, not two but all three Alphas claim her as their mate. What? But she's just a human - or is she? An elder tells her that there is latent magic in her - that wolf is waiting to come out. So all four of them go to the mating cabin to get to know each other and find out who Sable's wolf will choose. Their foursome becomes a fivesome when Dare, the alpha of the destroyed village, claims her as his. Each man is different and Sable is drawn to all four of them as they each soothe a different part of her. A lot of this book is building tension and friendship and working through trauma and learning to trust each other. Callie Rose weaves an intriguing story that leaves you on the edge of your seat. Also that cliffhanger is an absolute doozy so beware. I'm listening to this in the box set so I'd highly recommend doing the same that way you jump right in to the next book in this series.

Book 2: Broken Bond
5/5

Broken Bond starts just where the first book ends. And what wild ride it was. Bonds are tested and more secrets are revealed. Questions are answered but leave even more questions. This series is amazing. It's steamy, suspenseful and surprising. So many twists and turns it's hard to tell what way is up or where it's going next. Well done Callie Rose. Well done

Book 3: Dark Wolf
5/5

Dark Wolf starts right where the previous book ends. Sable and her mates are still learning to communicate and trust each other and continue to grow closer to each other with each trial they face. Friends, allies and enemies emerge in this action-packed, heart-pounding adventure. And once again Callie Rose leaves you wanting more. The final book is shaping up to be epic and I cannot wait to devious that one too.

Book 4: Alpha Queen
5/5

Alpha Queen is the epic conclusion to the Claimed by Wolves series and again starts just where the previous book ends. There are quite a few twists and high-intensity emotions. Everything has been building up to this action-packed and thrilling conclusion. I loved how everything came together in this book.

Title: The Raven Academy
Author: A. Caprice
Format: Audio
Narrator: Meghan Kelly
Genre: Paranormal Romance, RH
Standalone: This is the complete box set
POV: Bane, Delaney, Gareth, Dante
Steam Level: Steamy
3.5/5

Overall, The Raven Academy Box Set was a fun read/listen= going in places I didn't expect it to. But overall it was okay. I liked the hope at the end after things go haywire, sidewaays and unexpected. This series had a lot of potential but fell a little flat as evidenced by it taking me a month to listen to the whole thing.

Book 1: Magic Misfit
3.5/5

Magic Misfit is the first book in the Raven Academy trilogy. When Delaney learns she is a witch, she's dubious but agrees to go the a special school to learn magic. Think Hogwarts but for young adults and in New Orleans. Delaney had no clue the magical world existed and with the exception of one weird incident while she was cage fighting, she has no idea that she even has powers - let along how to control them. The problem? The prophecy says that she's either the savior or the destroyer of the magical world. Enemies and non-enemies are their to either sabotage or help her. The concept itself was intriguing and the story was good but I didn't buy into it - didn't get lost in the magical world. I enjoyed this book but didn't love it. It was a quick listen while I was working..

Title: Magic Misfire
3.5/5

Magic Misfire is the second book in the Raven Academy trilogy. Magic Misfire starts right where the first book ends. More secrets are revealed and Delaney learns more about the prophecy. Also, Delaney still can't wield her magic consistently and people are disappearing. More secrets are revealed and the threats keep coming.

Title: Magic Misrule
4/5

Magic Misrule is the final book in the Raven Academy trilogy. Magic Misrule starts right where the second book ends. And this time someone was missing and the enemies are attacking. It's go time for Delaney. Either learn to use her powers or she and everyone she loves will suffer the consequences. Magic Misrule is the most action-packed of this series and I liked it the most. Limits are tested, bonds forged and armies formed. People are injured, people die and all is on the line.

Title: Lords of Atlantis
Author: Starla Night
Format: Audio
Narrator: Chandra Skyye
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Merman Shifter, Fated Mates
Standalone: Not really
Part of a Series: Books 1 through 4 of Lords of Atlantis
3/5

I didn't do my research before starting this box set. I didn't realize that there are at least two more sets in this series. Each book builds of the previous ones in the series which makes this set feel more like just the beginning rather than a complete story. I'm honestly kicking myself for looking and continuing with this set rather than switching for another book before my Audible trial finished. This was a colossal waste of time. The women were either emotional minefields of self-doubt or strong, independent and closed-off. The mermen were all "protective" by not communicating the dangers of their situations. Combine this with no real resolution after four books we're lucky I'm not scoring this with less stars than 3.

Book 1: Seduced by the Sea Lord
POV: Lucy, Torun
Steam Level: Steamy
3/5

The story is good, compelling. The Merman race are dying out and Torun is is trying for find a solution by finding human brides. Obviously this does not go over well with the elders. He's seen as a traitor. When Lucy accidentally stumbles upon his body she pulls him from the sea. From there miscommunications, half-truths and unnecessary drama abounds. When Lucy accidentally reveals the mermen to the world things get even more crazy and sill the characters cannot communicate. I was annoyed but also wanted to see what happened. This audiobook took me quiet some time to get through which should have forewarned me to stop and switch to another book.

Book 2: Sacrificed to the Sea Lord
POV: Elyssa, Kadir
Steam Level: Steamy
3/5

Elyssa is clumsy and has absolutely no self-confidence. When she accidentally stumbles into King Kadir's arms (literally), he decides she's the one for him - despite the ongoing bride pageant. I think her clumsiness was supposed to be funny and cute but good lord was her self-doubt and lack of self-worth annoying AF. Again the story was good but the characters left quite a bit to be desired.

Book 3: Enslaved by the Sea Lord
POV: Soren, Aya
Steam Level: Steamy
3/5

Enslaved by the Sea Lord starts where Sacrificed to the Sea Lord ends. A battle is brewing and dangers from land and sea are brewing. Soren rescues Aya and they work together - once they learn to trust each other - to help save New Atlantis. That trust was like pulling teeth - no one could be fully honest and open - pushing each other away to protect the other from themselves. I wanted to smack them both several times throughout.

Book 4: Stolen by the Sea Lord
POV: Elan, Zara
Steam Level: Steamy
3/5

Zara is Elan's bride. His bride who was taken away from him and their newborn son and unwillingly returned to her island. No Elam is back, with their baby, wanting Zara back. Can she trust him? Will she trust him? What secrets is he hiding? This book was a change in that it mostly took place in the human world but of course the epic climactic battle took place under the sea. However, this book end not really on a cliffhanger but not really complete either. There are quite a few more books in this series that I won't be reading. I enjoyed the over-aching story but the characters left a lot to be desired. It was the same old miscommunications and lack of confidence in the other and themselves that was present in the first three books of the series. I will not be continuing - even if I had the opportunity to read or listen for free.

POV: Mallary

3.5/5

I'm not really a fan of women's fiction and I honestly didn't realize that's what this was when I picked it up. I just recognized Avery Flynn's name so denied to try it. Overall it was okay. Annoying at times but a good message about learning to love yourself and finding yourself after losing yourself to others. Mallary is starting over and soon to be divorced with major trust issues. Her parents are not supportive and she inherits a hose that needs major repairs - kind of hard with no income and starting over. Moving back to New Jersey isn't what she wanted or expected but just what she needs - it only she'd get out of her own head and her own way.

So this book was okay. None of the characters likable or who they seemed. This book was told mainly through the widow's POV and slowly revealed why she was so angry and along the way added more intrigue. I normally like mystery/thrillers but since no one was likeable I didn't really like this book. There was no one to root for and was a bit heavy handed at times. I listened to the nook through the Audible Plus catalogue meaning I got it for free but if I had paid for it I would be very irritated. The writing and narration was good, the story was intriguing but overall it made a good background soundtrack to when I was working. I didn't care enough to pay close attention. :

POV: Heather, Levi

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions that I was not really prepared for. Heather and Eli's story is great. Heather is a divorced cop who takes care of her dying sister. She has no time for relationships - especially after being hurt by her ex. Eli is a popstar from Heather's favorite boy band = the member she had the biggest crush on. Heather and Eli meet at his concert and have a one night stand which freaks Heather out. Things get crazier from there with Eli pursuing her and busting through her walls and showing her the real Ellington - not the popstar turned actor. The characters are very memorable in this book - especially Heather's outrageous friends. I laughed, I cried and cried and laughed. This was great book but if you're an emotional wreck like I am right now then this book will give you the outlet you need to express your emotions.

The Whispering Room is even better than the first book. Jane Hawk continues on her mission to prove that her husband's suicide was really a murder. I highly recommend reading this series in order as the events continue to build and the mystery continues to unfold. While the Jane Hawk series obviously continues this book feels more complete - the ending insane but also a good stopping point. I'm very interested in seeing what comes next in this creepy, suspenseful world.
