Story
The first time I saw him, I knew I'd never want another man the way I wanted him. The second time, I drank a bottle of his most expensive cognac, which I'd never be able to afford on my own. And the third time… well, he caught me stealing from him. Stealing from the head of the Irish Mafia wasn't smart. But then I never claimed to be. Now I owed him a debt… a big one. And it couldn't be settled with money, or favors.

The first book in the series was really good and as I continued to read the other 2 it just got worse. Narrations were good BUT the story was terrible in my opinion. Wishing there was more of the little boy and what was best for him and then becoming a family

Story
Capo to the Luciano Famiglia was my birthright. The cruelty needed to succeed in this life has been beaten into me since I was a young boy. My father, Vincent Luciano, taught by example and with the slap of his hand. My independent streak took me down paths my father would never have gone. With our enemies gaining strength, it is my idea to attempt an alliance with an unlikely bedfellow. The RorÃguez Cartel and the Luciano Famiglia are improbable partners, yet even Vincent Luciano can’t deny the possible benefits. The only way to solidify the deal is for me to marry Catalina Ruiz.

Story
Ambrose Young was beautiful. He was tall and muscular, with hair that touched his shoulders and eyes that burned right through you. The kind of beautiful that graced the covers of romance novels, and Fern Taylor would know. She'd been reading them since she was 13. But maybe because he was so beautiful he was never someone Fern thought she could have...until he wasn't beautiful anymore.

The more books I read of Amy’s the more I believe I know who she is or the kind of person she is and if I could pick a friend I would pick her if she was truly like Fern. This book has taught me to look inside a person way more than I have learned to in my 53yrs. Well done by ALLðŸ‘?ðŸ?¼

My first with this author and it’s taking everything in me to write this review and not go straight to find another of hers.
With that being said if you have ever had a situation of adultery in your marriage this book will help so much. After reading I realized I’m not as close with God as I should be and I pray that changes now ðŸ™?

Story
Bertie Jenkins has spent forty years serving as a midwife for her community in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Out of all the mothers she’s tended, none affects her more than the young teenager who shows up on her doorstep, injured, afraid, and expecting, one warm June day in 1943. As Bertie and her four sisters tenderly nurture Songbird back to health, the bond between the childless midwife and the motherless teen grows strong. But soon Songbird is forced to make a heartbreaking decision that will tear this little family apart.

I LOVED this story from a daughter of a Kentucky bootlegger who did go legal when the town turned wet and a mother who got pregnant also at the age of 14. By the grace of God my mom allowed me to choose what I wanted to do about my situation and that was to have my baby. My daddy was not happy but he loved his grandson dearly and they both helped me in raising my son until I got old enough to do it on my own.
