This is not about uterine cancer
Reviewed: 05-05-20
This book has a lot of info on how you can fight cancer, or prevent cancer, naturally. It's full of info one can get from The Truth About Cancer as well as any other book about alternative treatment for cancer. What it doesn't have is miraculous information on how to cure uterine cancer. There is a very short chapter that talks about a few woman who used MSM to cure their uterine cancer, but not anything in detail. Why this book is called The Uterine Cancer Miracle is beyond me. There isn't a lot of info out there about uterine cancer, so when I saw the title, I was excited to listen to it. But after getting through the whole book, I was very disappointed that the info it does contain is info I'm already aware of (diet, cut out processed foods, stay away from sugar, etc.. things anyone looking for alternative treatments already knows). The title is completely misleading.

Short book w/ only about 1/2 the info about cancer
Reviewed: 11-10-19
Look at the title. It's Keto Diet for Cancer, yet half this book is about all the other health issues that are positively effected by the keto diet. I didn't buy this book to find out what else keto can help. I bought it to get info on cancer. I found that very annoying. If I wanted a book that discusses all the benefits of Keto on all health issues, that's what I would have purchased. The last half of the book gets to the point, but it isn't really anything new. You can find this info from many articles on the internet for free or from watching utube video's on the subject. i didn't find this to be very helpful in my search in the least. I guess if you've been living under a tree and have no idea how we need to build our immune system back to pristine condition with food and nutrition in order to fight cancer, then this book will be helpful. Otherwise, only moderately helpful.

I knew this wasn't the full version, but I certainly expected it to contain some info! It told me nothing I didn't already know, and kept suggesting you purchase the full version for more info. It's a summary and analysis, and really, you can find all this info for free on the social security website. There is nothing in this book worth $3.95.

My parents also had dementia
Reviewed: 11-02-16
I wasn't sure I could actually listen to this story because both of my parents recently passed away (11 days apart), both having forms of dementia/alzheimers. I wished I'd listen this book before their deaths, but I finally, hesitantly, decided to listen to it the other day.
Kimberly's account of her mothers journey into dementia is all too real for me, many of the experiences her family has had are almost identical to my families. If you want a real look into what it's like, how it feels, confusing emotions experienced by all involved, and how heartbreaking it is, her book will help you to understand.
Through all the heartbreak, she was able to find a new kind of relationship with her mother, which I also did with my mom..It is amazing that this can happen in the midst of so much sadness.
The only part of her book that I disagreed with is the use of Seroquel to keep her mothers mood in check, which she is in agreement with.. Both of my parents were also given Seroquel, which inadvertently, led to both of their deaths.. It's a psychotic drug being used on Dementia patients, and in my opinion, should not be.. The side effects can be deadly.
But other than that, her story could have been my story, times two (both of my parents).. All forms of dementia are confusing, heartbreaking, sad and will forever change the lives of all involved.
There is a huge question mark in my mind as to why this is happening to so many people right now.

My Life After Death begins on the tragic day when Erik Medhus took his own life. What follows is a moment-by-moment account of the spiritual life he discovered on the other side - told for the very first time in his own words, as channeled by medium Jamie Butler and then transcribed by his mother, Elisa. In this intimate and provocative memoir, Erik describes more than just a visit to the afterlife.

Like listening to a cartoon character
Reviewed: 09-14-16
I read Elisa Medhus's first book and enjoyed it. I've spent time on her Eric website. I've watched some of the utube video's available. But I have to admit, for some reason, I always have slight doubt, and I'm not a doubter about this subject in the least.
I very much believe in communication with the other side, reincarnation, all of it. These are the types of books I navigate towards. I just continue to have this feeling of doubt about what is being written by Elisa Medhus, and I truly wish that doubt wasn't there..
Having said that, this book did nothing to squash those feelings. It actually just made it worse. The person narrating sounds like a dorky teenage cartoon character who uses the f-bomb constantly. Maybe the other side does continue with foul language, what do I know? But it really distracts from the message.
This is one book that should probably be read rather than listened to, as the narrators voice truly is so childish sounding. I realize Eric was a young man when he committed suicide but I doubt he sounded like a cartoon character. I've tried repeatedly to get through this book, only to end up looking for another book to listen to after a very short time.

A groundbreaking and definitive account of the widespread misdiagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and its serious effects on children, adults, and society. More than one in seven American children are getting diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) - three times what experts have said is appropriate, making it one of the most mishandled and debated conditions in medicine.

Anyone with children, grandchildren, loved ones, friends, or yourself, who has been diagnosed with ADHD needs to listen to this book.. Alan Schwarz is very fair in his telling of this story. He is not taking sides, but I suspect most rational people will walk away thinking, boy did I drink the koolaid or what? Wake up America, before we are a nation of people who can't function without that magic prescription drug.. Oh wait, we're almost there!!!

I really enjoyed this book. Lyn Ragan tells this story like she's having a conversation with you, telling you about her beautiful experience with the love of her life, who was murdered. She just seems like she could be your next door neighbor, a down to earth, real person who had this incredibly experience. The narrator did an excellent job, so all in all, easy to listen to, will make you feel good story...

Too much info about the author
Reviewed: 09-05-16
I tried to listen to this book but found my attention being distracted. The author talks about his life, his career quite a bit, which is distracting considering it's suppose to be about the Clintons, and the author isn't really a figure of interest. I know that does't sound very nice to say, but it's true. I expected more about the Clintons. The info he does give about the Clintons is interesting enough, but to be honest, it's not going to change any democrats mind about voting for Hillary. Do I think she should be in office? Lord, NO... Do I think she'll end up there? I think our system is rigged and if the powers that be want her in there, that's what will happen. I believe the author is a very decent human being who wrote this book hoping people would realize the Clintons are not who they present themselves as.. For those of us who aren't fans of the Clintons, we already know that.. For Clinton fans, it isn't going to convince them of anything. They'll just trash the author.. So all in all, just couldn't really get into this book.

Convicted and sentenced to 15 months at the infamous federal correctional facility in Danbury, Connecticut, the well-heeled Smith College alumna is now inmate #11187-424 - one of the millions of women who disappear "down the rabbit hole" of the American penal system.

Much cleaner than the netflix show!!!!
Reviewed: 09-01-16
Although I do watch this show on Netflix, I almost didn't buy the book because the show is pretty rauncy at times, and I figured the book would be even worse..There are parts of the show that are a little over the top.. I read someone else's review stating that isn't the case with the book, so I went ahead and purchased it.. Happy to say, it really is much more clean cut, and really more about what it was like for this woman to have to change her life so drastically, figure out how to fit in and what the experience did to not only her, but to her fiance, family and friends. It's really very touching the way she forms relationships with woman she probably would never have come in contact with in her real life. Interesting book. Narrater did an awesome job, especially in her interpretation of the different accents of the woman.
