Story
This is the charming, human account of the adventures of lovely, wealthy Rose Campbell as she grows into young womanhood. Rose's greatest attraction undoubtedly is that she's such a real girl. She has her trials and disappointments, her temptations and failures. But with the aid of loving counsel and a level head she manages to turn out into a thoroughly lovable, admirable woman.

Story
Petunia De Vere enjoys being the personal assistant to lovable, bumbling Johnny Marchmont. But the job has its share of challenges, including the royal’s giant, intimidating bodyguard, Matthias. Pet and Matthias are polar opposites—she’s spontaneous and enthusiastic, he’s rigid and stoic—but she can sense there’s something softer underneath that tough exterior… For Matthias Vaughn, protecting others is the name of the game. But keeping his royal charge out of trouble is more difficult than he imagined because everywhere Johnny goes, calamity ensues.

The narrator's voice for the MMC ruined it
Reviewed: 08-17-23
The narrator's voice for Matthias was so bad - like a whisper or someone sick. The story was trying to incorporate too much tropes/story arcs. The only redeeming part is Pet's family. Wish I didn't buy this title.

Story
The proposition is simple: if ER nurse Claire Harper and her roommate, firefighter Graham Scott, are still single by the time they’re forty, they’ll take the proverbial plunge together…as friends with benefits. Maybe it’s the wine, but in the moment, Claire figures the pact is a safe-enough deal, considering she hasn’t had much luck in love and he’s in no rush to settle down. Like, at all. Besides, there’s no way she could ever really fall for Graham and his thrill-seeking ways. Not after what happened to her father.

Better than the author's first book
Reviewed: 08-04-23
This is better than the author's first book. I would say that the first half is stronger than the last half. Graham is such a sweetheart. However, it's weird that this is a FWB situation and the intimate scenes (which also got them closer) are fade-to-black. How Claire's issue was resolved also felt weak/like a cop out to me. Great narrator and banter though!

Story
Lauren Fox is the bookkeeper for Cold World, a tourist destination that's always a winter wonderland despite being located in humid Orlando, Florida. Sure, it’s ranked way below any of the trademarked amusement parks and maybe foot traffic could be better. But it’s a fun place to work, even if “fun” isn’t exactly Lauren’s middle name.

The editing of the audiobook is uneven/bad - some parts are louder while some are softer. In the first few chapters, the narrator sounded sick.
