Story
Half-Korean, half-Japanese, Masaji Ishikawa has spent his whole life feeling like a man without a country. This feeling only deepened when his family moved from Japan to North Korea when Ishikawa was just thirteen years old, and unwittingly became members of the lowest social caste. His father, himself a Korean national, was lured to the new Communist country by promises of abundant work, education for his children, and a higher station in society. But the reality of their new life was far from utopian.

This is yet another horrific account of the North Korean atrocities, as well as governments being strong armed by the Chinese government to shut up about it. Hope more people educate themselves with this stuff so we can figure out what to do about it

Story
The deep and enduring friendship between Vincent and Theo Van Gogh defined both brothers' lives. As a confidant, champion, sympathizer, and friend, Theo financially and emotionally supported his older brother as the artistic but troubled Vincent struggled to find his path in life as both a painter and a man. Throughout that struggle, the brothers shared everything - swapping stories of lovers and friends, successes and disappointments, dreams and ambitions.

This maps out the course of both Vincent and Theo lives really well. When I was done listing, I felt as if I was a close friend to both brothers.

In 12 Rules for Life, clinical psychologist and celebrated professor at Harvard and the University of Toronto Dr. Jordan B. Peterson helped millions impose order on the chaos of their lives. Now, in this bold sequel, Peterson delivers 12 more lifesaving principles for resisting the exhausting toll that our desire to order the world inevitably takes. Much Needed Advice

Jordan never ceases to hit an essential nerve were it hurts. That’s the signal telling me where I need to investigate myself. His articulation and integration of stories in popular culture into archetypal motifs has further expanded in Beyond Order. It does not matter if you have already familiarized yourself with Jordens work or not, this book is an amazing stand alone read. I highly recommend it for any one searching to find them selves or to just reevaluate and reflect on life’s trajectory
