The story was interesting and mostly non predictable. i actually listened while in the house also. the story was that good. I highly recommend them!

Meet Heaven: a young girl who is loving, submissive, and beyond appreciative of her husband, Ross. As a teenager, Heaven lived solely for her sister, Divine, and her daughter, Sunshine. Because her mother is mentally ill and her father ran off, Heaven had to do some unimaginable things just to feed the family. Then came Ross, and everything changed. Learn secrets about men and the dishonest games they play that most women will never know. Most women are very surprised when a man becomes distant, when they find out he wasn't as interested as he seemed, or worse, when everything he said turns out to be a blatant lie. It's time to use the secrets of the men who "play" games with women.

Story
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.

I never listen to novels but I think this was available as a free download so I got it. I was laying in bed having just finished another book about business when this started playing automatically. I thought at first OH GOD what is this but it caught my attention from the beginning so I continued to listen. ALL the way to the end...over some days as time permitted of course. No wandering of the mind or anything. It was a VERY GOOD LISTEN. I am now on the road to finding some more fiction books to listen to.

Story
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

It was kind of hard listening to the story at times because it seemed she was reading the story and had difficulty doing so until she told certain parts. When she got to the Roscoe story, which was the absolute highlight of the book, she came alive and it was memorable, funny, engaging and held my attention. I was a little frustrated with the book in the beginning but I stuck with it and I wound up enjoying it. After the Roscoe story it was a dud though
