An insightful book

More Academic than Devotional

I expected something more devotional based on the title, but this was more academic in nature.
The narration was great. I'm impressed by the pronunciation of the Greek and Hebrew words (it's like the narrator either knows the languages or at least cares enough to make sure he pronounces the words well).
But I was a little disappointed with the content. It would be better if the head knowledge of the character of God would be brought more to the heart level.

Libro bueno, narrador malo.

El narrador no sabe pronunciar varios nombres de libros bíblicos. Por ejemplo, dice Filisteos en vez de Filipenses, Matías en vez de Mateo, y hay otras palabras que pronuncia mal. Tampoco sabe bien la diferencia entre capitulo y versículo y se equivocó varias veces entre los dos. El libro es muy bueno, pero el narrador no.

Not the best audio Bible

I'm not impressed with this translation, and I've read several. The narrator misses or mispronounces several words throughout, and he lacks expression or variation in his tone. I probably won't reread this Bible translation.
