Another Outstanding Book by This Author.

This author has another book called Why Bad Things Happen to Good People.
This book also answered my prayers, and questions about understanding God.
All too often we people often ask why God, why?
Although this book may not give us the answers that we want. The author answers are true, realistic and makes sense.
I can say make this statement that God led me to this author, and because I am not an avid book reader, God also put into the mind of this author to make an audiobook.
I truly can say I do not blame God, but I now understand why bad things happen to good people.
I will purchase this book for my son since he is an avid reader, who blames God for things that have happened in his life. I will also gift this audiobook to a friend whose wife is dying of cancer.

Story
As a young theology student, Harold Kushner puzzled over the Book of Job. As a small-town rabbi he counseled other people through pain and grief. But not until he learned that his three-year-old son, Aaron, would die in his early teens of a rare disease did he confront one of life's most difficult questions: Where do we find the resources to cope when tragedy strikes?

THIS IS A MUST HEAR AUDIBLE BOOK

I can see why this book was the best seller.
In all our lives we wonder why God, why?
Too often we blame God for bad things that happen to us, our families, our friends even our pets. We blame God for the minor things, and also for the major.
The author of this audiobook has written a better book Why Bad Things Happen to Good People The Book of Job.
It is another book that I have listened to and it goes into further details.
The author has a calm reassuring voice, and is well read.
This book makes sense.
I am not usually a reader of books, so I am going to make this statement that God put into the author's mind to do an audiobook to help people like me who listen to books.
I am also going to blame God for helping me finding this author as this book has definitely changed the way I think about blaming God.
This is the book that I am definitely going to gift to my son who often blames God for things that have happened in his life, and also to a friend whose wife is dying of cancer.

Story
Bradbury's Mars is a place of hope, dreams, and metaphor - of crystal pillars and fossil seas - where a fine dust settles on the great, empty cities of a silently destroyed civilization. It is here the invaders have come to despoil and commercialize, to grow and to learn - first a trickle, then a torrent, rushing from a world with no future toward a promise of tomorrow. The Earthman conquers Mars...and then is conquered by it, lulled by dangerous lies of comfort and familiarity, and enchanted by the lingering glamour of an ancient, mysterious native race.

Jim Dale is one of the most awesome narrator's and story teller. JK Rolling's Harry Potter's books are the most articulate, and detailed story book I have ever listened to. Nothing was missed in her details. As I heard Jim Dale read, I could imagine myself seeing what was going on. This audiobook I will listen to more than once for years to come.

There are many Christmas Carol audio books. But this narration was read as close to Charles Dickens' original book. The narrator's voice was as close to what I would have imagined the English would have been during the 1800's. Other narrators were involved in the reading of the book to simulate different characters.
Too bad this audio book is cannot be followed with a Kindle book.

This book is a one of few that I find is a great read. What I mean by that is that it is easy to follow because the author writes the book in an easy to follow manner. This book is suspendful and allows the reader to create the story in his or her imagination.
This is one of a few books that was mandated reading for my university course.
The reader Scott Brick is an phenomenal narrator.

This is great book authored by someone before I was born. It's great fantasy sci-fi. There are other John Carter books sold by audible but this narrator is the best. the only thing I didn't like about it is that John Carter for the author Edward Burroughs in the second book is too full of himself.
