Extremely Biased Storytelling! Sore Loser.
Reviewed: 08-14-22
The Preface of this book should have lead with the lyrics from the song, "If the South would've won we'd a had it made. . ." Virtually all historically significant Republicans mentioned in the book are labelled RADICALS or spoken of in some other disdainful way. Yet, equally similar Southerners [Democrats to be clear] both good and bad, are hailed as heros. Like previous reviewer [Hansen] mentioned, it was extremely hard to get past the first chapter because it was so obvious the purpose of the book was to disparage Republicans first, then report history with a slant. An author of this regard should be able to write historically significant books with equal disdain and/or approval for the people being written about according to their acts.

Story
Lauren Russell, her family, and the community of Trout Run Valley had been blessed with a workable blueprint for overcoming nearly insurmountable odds - odds that had been surmounted against them, and others like them, since the blackout, subsequent decline of society, and the world's devolution. The aftermath of the most recent onslaught, a ruthless attack by a menacing enemy, had left them reeling in its wake, leaving a once-sustainable food supply damaged beyond repair and two of their own senselessly murdered.

Storyline came straight from today's headlines and characters were eerily accurate to key political figures in the US. Living in Panama during the late 80's I witnessed first-hand how easily ideological beliefs turn neighbor against neighbor and make the arch enemies overnight (over an election). Sad thing is it is all orchestrated by the lying media and we'll meaning folks don't realize they're being duped. Wasn't easy following the narrators different characters but likely because I wasn't familiar with her narrating.

This audiobook could best be described as a lab manual with simple experiments that prove reality is malleable, consciousness trumps matter, and you shape your life with your mind. Yes, you read that right. It says prove. The nine experiments, each of which can be conducted with absolutely no money and very little time expenditure, demonstrate that spiritual principles are as dependable as gravity, as consistent as Newton's laws of motion.

Phenomenal book with irrefutable exercises . . .
Reviewed: 04-25-17
Hand's down the very best self-help book I have ever read and that has ever proven itself correct without my having to go to astronomical lengths to become a believer!!! Exercises are extremely simple and the 48hour window used on some showed results in less that 10hrs. Pam even references works by other Authors (some of which I have tried as a result), and they were equally compelling in results. Anyone who denies the affirmations Pam espouses in this book are either outright lying or has a very, very closed mind. Like I said, the results of the experiments are irrefutable. Thank You for such awesome insight and information Pam!!!

I am sure you have heard it said that wealth and abundance have nothing to do with your background, gender, or location. However, this undeniable nugget of wisdom is just the tip of the millionaire's iceberg. The harsh reality is there is a careful balance of wealth and poverty in the world. If you act in one way you will become rich and have everything you desire. Act another way and you will stay among the majority who struggle to cope with never quite having enough.

If you could sum up Millionaire University in three words, what would they be?
Phenomenal read and very clear, precise explanations on what to do and how to get where one 'wants' to go moneywise.
What did you like best about this story?
The anecdotes bring his reasoning to indisputable clarity.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
STOP LETTING HIS CONTEMPT FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP BLEED THROUGH INTO HIS WORK!!! Craig's utter disdain for Trump couldn't be masked even though he harps on the fact that he isn't even a US Citizen/voter. He makes numerous negative connotations towards President Trump (who's only been in office less than two months with virtually every allegation against him disproven or proven to be false) yet he doesn't utter a word about the travesty of President Obama or Candidate Clinton when there's so much more factual, proven evidence of misdeeds and wrongdoing! It wouldn't be such a big issue had he not come out early in the book and pretend to be neutral towards the US politics when he clearly isn't.
Any additional comments?
I hope his future works refrain from political commentary! It takes away from the remarkable work he creates. If Trump supporters were like anti -Trumper's, he would find himself and his books subject to a bitter, no-holds-barred campaign to ruin him. . .but we're not.

Story
The Fall of America: Book 2 continues John's story of survival and resistance after society breaks down. Russian invaders continue to try and pacify the areas of the South under their control. The American resistance groups divide their forces into small cells to better operate effectively behind enemy lines. But as their efforts begin to gain ground, the Russians respond with harsh reprisals; mass executions become the norm, and prison camps soon spring up in remote small towns. "Fear brings compliance," is their motto.

Where does The Fall of America rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's in my top 5 of this genre. I particularly loved the fact that much of the story is up to date in terms of military equipment and when speaking of politics and politicians.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lee Alan?
Mr. Grimsley is who I would have narrated this second book. Primarily because I purchased the second book immediately upon completing the first book and expected to hear the same voice. Lee's voice and narration is so much more different from Lee's that it was hard to get used to. Lee narrates well, it was just a shock to the system to have the narrator switched like this.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Will update upon second listen (ironic how much of the story I miss because of phone calls or other issues distracting me so I listen at least twice).
