The narration was fantastic as ever. MQ has some of the best multi cast productions for audio and I look forward to them.

For the story, it started off pretty slow for me. I did not care for Storee in the beginning. I don't know if it was intentional to make her selfish and self centered, but I thought she was kind of mean. I did come around on her by the end of the book.

I thought Cole's character was great. Kind of grumpy (for good reasons) but something about Storee just helped bring him back to the way that he used to be. The two of them together ended up being a good match.
I enjoyed the plot so much. I like when Meghan writes about competitions because they end up being crazy and hilarious. There is some serious steam as well so if you like the spice, this story brings it.

I'll be honest, I kind of struggled with this one. I love Monica's books and her writing....
This is the slowest of slow burns. It's not quite the same formula as her other books. I enjoy college romance and this one has a roommate component to it. It was just missing something for me. Nico is kind of a giant baby. He did really redeem himself by the end. A nice grand gesture and he realized that he needed to straighten himself out. Everleigh was more than patient with him. She is a nutrition major and that's what I went to school for so that was really fun for me. I loved all of the other characters though and it seems like they might get stories too which I will greatly look forward to. This story is really well- written. I listened to it on audio and the narration was really good.

When I tell you that I was hooked on this story, I truly was.
It is a freaking disaster out of the gate but I think that's why I enjoyed it so much.
I love forbidden romance and the spicy scenes were freaking hot and taboo. I haven't read a story like this in awhile and I remember why I like them so much. So interesting to get into the world of a sex worker. I didn't see any of the surprises coming and I think it's because I didn't read any reviews and the blurb was great at not giving anything away. The ending was beyond emotional for me and I was both sad and angry for Aubrey despite bringing this on herself in some ways. This is a MUST read if you like forbidden romance. I listened to it on audio and it was fantastic. Had to slow the speed down because so much was going on. :)

Oh my goodness. I think Brody might be one of my favorite MQ heroes. <3 I am a sucker for a good cinnamon roll and he is top shelf cinnamon. It was comical as well as tragic listening to all of the situations that poor man finds himself falling in to. Maggie is a master ball buster. I had the best time with their story. And as Meghan does, gets me all in my feels by the end of the story. Mr. Hopper is lucky that he is fictional character and doesn't have to feel the wrath of me. He pissed me off to no end.
Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke are the best romance narrators. The way the capture characters is unmatched. I don't think I want to consume Meghan's books any other way anymore. They bring so much richness to the story.

If you don't find a partner that will learn different methods of teaching you because your brain works differently then YOU DON'T WANT THEM. Because that is the answer to What is Love?

I loved everything about this book. Jen Comfort's writing is outstanding. It is so well researched. The dialogue is smart, witty, flirty and all of the things. I can't say enough. This is the second book that I have read from her and I am about to hit her backlist.

Her characters are always quirky and her plots are so unique. It was like I was watching a movie. Teddy and Maxine needed each other. They were the peanut butter & Jelly, salt & pepper, gin & tonic. You get the idea. I just laughed at and with them. They were so hilarious. Crazy, impulsive Maxine and straight laced, integrous Teddy. They had me swooning. I could feel them in my heart. The ending was absolute perfection and actually surprised me.

As a side note. I have a son with ADHD and I always enjoy reading characters with the same neurodivergence. <3

I listened to this on audio while I was reading... went back and forth. The narration was perfection. It sounded just like I would imagine them to sound and only added to the cinematic format I envisioned in my mind.

These narrators are some of the best for romance audiobooks. Love the duet narration. This book was unexpected. I loved that nothing that I though would happen did. The unpredictability was a pleasant surprise. Gage and Elodie are great characters and I love how dedicated they are to their kid/sibling. Enjoyed watching them all become a family and seeing the villain get what's coming to them. Such a fun listening experience.

I really enjoyed The Playboy which was the first book in this series, but I liked this one even more.
This starts out as a one weekend stand when strangers Rowan and Cooper are snowed in together. Then all kinds of surprises happen afterward. It has all of the steam and dirty talk that you would expect from a Marni Mann story but it honestly had me tearing up at the end. It's a story about family, loyalty, forgiveness and burying old grudges. The narration was great and brought this story to life.

Melanie Moreland is a freaking magician.
I started this story and I hated, HATED Richard. I honestly did NOT think this man could be redeemed. I'd be hard pressed to tell you about a more selfish, arrogrant jerk in any other story. But she pulled it off in a believable way. As believable as a fake relationship/marriage can be.
Katy's story definitely pulled on my heartstrings. She has almost always had to count on herself and the quote 'Though she be but little she is fierce' describes her so well. I love reading about someone so empathetic, kind and nice to everyone.
The story is very compelling and you can take away some good lessons from it. The value of telling the truth, coming clean and seeking forgiveness and redemption. Truly watched love grow right before my eyes. I listened to this on audio and fair warning to you.... do not put on mascara if you are planning to read or listen before going somewhere important.
It's nice to see this story get some new life with a new publisher.

This will be on my top reads for this year. I knew I was going to love Halsey's story and I truly did. This story hit me in the heart in so many ways. I loved how all the guys were back together. The group texts did NOT disappoint. I laughed so hard OUT LOUD for real.
I listened to this on audio and it's probably one of the best audiobooks that I have ever heard. The narrators nailed it. It's an all star cast. I was surprised by Penny's narrator. I don't think I've listened to her before and she was a perfect Penny. It's a multicast production and so well done.
I enjoy a good unrequited love story. Halsey is the epitome of a book boyfriend and you get glimpses of his past in the previous books but we finally find out all of it here and it kinda wrecked me. Impressed with the way Blakely stood with him when he needed it. And there is no third act breakup which was kind of refreshing, but don't worry, there is definitely drama. By the end, I am so invested in Posey's story coming up. It's surely going to be a wild ride.

I love nothing more than a good forbidden romance and boy did this one not disappoint.
I really enjoyed how this story was told. You get a dual POV, but with flashbacks over the years to show how their relationship started and changed.
You could definitely feel how much of a struggle Tor felt over his feelings for Kenzi. He was so aware of the repercussions of following through on them with regards to how people would view them, especially his best friend/Kenzi's dad Asher. Yet, he knew she was the one for him so he leaves it all on the line eventually.
Kenzi is so naïve in the way that teenagers are when it comes to first loves. She thinks that love will be enough and learns that sometimes you need more.
I loved how soft Tor is for Kenzi. I love how the compliment each other so much.
Despite it all, love prevails.
The narrators did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.
