In Arguing with Socialists, New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck arms listeners to the teeth with information necessary to debunk the socialist arguments that have once again become popular, and proves that the free market is the only way to go. With his trademark humor, Beck lampoons the resurgence of this bankrupt leftist philosophy with thousands of stories, facts, and arguments for anyone who is willing to ask the hard questions.

This book contains a lot of opinions...but that's how we decide between freedom and liberty or socialism, by our opinion on which is better.
But these options are backed up with facts. Here is what I think, and here is how I got there.
If you are left leaning, please read this with an open mind and be prepared to be challenged.

Story
Narrated by Emmy Award–winning actor Martin Sheen, The Home Front: Life in America During World War II takes listeners into the lives of Americans at home—part of the Greatest Generation—who supported the war effort and sustained the country during wartime. The war brought immediate, life-changing shifts: the rationing of meat, dairy products, and sugar; an explosion of war-related jobs; and, despite mixed signals, a greater role for women working outside the home.

An amazing history of life during World War II
Reviewed: 12-24-19
This was a fascinating oral history of World War II. I learned a great many things in this period the only issue that I had the kept me from giving it a full 5 stars was the is sthorian who blatantly mischaracterized what happened at the battle of Athens. Do you research on that 1 to find the real truth.

Good book...terrible narration
Reviewed: 01-20-18
It is always a mistake to switch narrators in the middle of a series. This is no exception. While his reading was clear and understandable, his voices were horble.
His own voice is far to high pitched to be a thriller narrator. His Israile voices sounded German.
He was really a distraction from an otherwise enjoyable book.

Story
For centuries, the Vikings have swept out of the Norse countries and fallen on whatever lands they could reach aboard their longships, and few could resist the power of their violent onslaught. They came at first to plunder and then to settle, an encroachment fiercely resisted wherever they went. Such was the case in the southern lands of Ireland. En route to the Viking longphort there, known as Dubh-linn, Thorgrim Night Wolf and Ornolf the Restless stumble across an Irish ship.

James Nelson (Lord Nelson to his Sea Scouting friends) has written a fantastic and accurate story about a Norse crew gone a Viking in Ireland.
Though the English accent of the narrator Texas getting used to, and there aren't any actual Scandinavian accents to speak of, it was a great listen. I'm looking forward to starting the next book (In about 5 min).
