Falsely advertised as a paranormal investigator, Tempest Michaels has a serial killing vampire to track down and a poltergeist to catch...because he’s staked his reputation on proving none of it is real. Helped by disillusioned cop, Amanda Harper, the duo is not only pitted against a brotherhood of vampire wannabes, but also a desperately ticking clock when one of his friends is taken. He’s got all the help he could need and more, though, as his friends, his mum, and his dogs are pitching in!

I feel like I'm being mansplained to death!
Reviewed: 10-18-22
I'm not sure why they switched narrators. I've never left a bad review, but I don't think I can make it through this book. I've even got other books narrated by Bronson, and they don't sound like this. it is really like listening to some guy mansplain. The narration of Jameson and August parts are particularly bizarre and horrible.

Not really funny at all
Reviewed: 05-06-19
The best part of it was the music. This was so hard to listen to, some voices were really loud, while you could barely hear others. there wasn't even really a story. I didn't laugh once throughout the entire thing.

I enjoyed this book immensely. I thought the survey did a great job narrating. A lot of people complained about awkward reading, but I believe it was more bad editing. it's not the highest quality of recording. It's an incredibly fun storyline that I will probably listen to again.

Omally groaned. "It is the end of mankind as we know it. I should never have got up so early today," and all over Brentford electrical appliances were beginning to fail.... Could it be that Pooley and Omally, whilst engaged on a round of allotment golf, mistook laser-operated gravitational landing beams for the malignant work of Brentford Council? Does the Captain Laser Alien Attack machine in the bar of the Swan possess more sinister force than its magnetic appeal for youths with green hair? Is Brentford the first base in an alien onslaught on planet Earth?
