Story
A 2-week luxury Mediterranean cruise. With filthy rich glamorous “friends” I truly detest. And me, in a fake relationship with my brother’s best friend. All kinds of AWKWARD. When Flynn asks if I will be his fake girlfriend at his ex’s engagement cruise, my jaw drops. Flynn and I fight like cats and dogs. So, why me? He makes me an offer that is too tempting to refuse. Saying no would be a monumental mistake. Catching feelings was not part of the deal. We are beyond off-limits to each other. But all that time spent together brings our unexpected lust to an explosive level that we ...

Confusion
Reviewed: 03-15-24
What I really enjoyed was the story line. There wasn’t a lot of conflict which can be very annoying. My major dislike was the virtual that was very confusing with the characters. Hopefully you have a real person read your next book!

Story
Julia Vargas is a cop with a mission. When she's not chasing down bad guys, Julia dedicates her time to investigating the Hangman serial killer...the same unsolved case that her father, Jim Vargas, was working on when he supposedly shot and killed himself three decades before. While rumors continue to swirl around her father's death, Julia attempts to hunt down the truth. The case once again hits dangerously close, however, when a woman's bones are discovered in a historic downtown home.

Story
On a rainy night, I drove my overstuffed junker car back to a town I never expected to see again. And when I needed a rescue by the side of the road, a six-foot-tall piece of hot, unfinished business named Mark was what the universe sent me. Three years earlier, I’d fled town (and Mark) to follow my wrongly convicted father to his federal prison, working crappy jobs to stay afloat and visit him every second I could. But now, Dad’s dead, and I’m mysteriously offered the best job of my life at the college where his life blew up when he was accused of a crime he didn’t commit.

Worse book ever listened to
Reviewed: 08-31-20
The author spends more time describing main characters sexual feel instead of the story. There really isn’t much of a story. I’m truly sorry for buying this and the second book. I don’t think I have ever disliked the main character as much as I do in this book!

I really enjoy the story line because it was straight forward. Other historical books try to hard to make a story more complicated and the story goes to long. The second important part to audible are the voices and they were perfect.
