It was a day like any other when suddenly the world changed. The universe reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. A place where power is the only thing anyone can truly rely on.

With the invasion of Earth handled, and an enemy Chosen now targeting him, Jake makes his final push for C-grade… A final push that includes refining one last skill before he evolves. Once that’s done, all he needs is a few more levels and to finish off his bucket list of vanities before it’s time to evolve. The evolution itself will have no surprises, right?

a fun little before the beginning
Reviewed: 06-05-21
this is a fun little prequel, but I recommend reading this after the main story. keeps a few things surprising and mysterious and this is fun after. wish Robert would have lived longer to do more WOT universe stories but perhaps one day we will get an rpg about a man in the black tower or something. I have little hope for the tv series, but I will check it out and see if it is anything worth while

Story
They say family always sticks together, but when you're your dad's only lifeline and the whole world - humans, dragons, and gods - wants you dead, "family bonding" takes on a whole new meaning. My name is Opal Yong-ae, and I'm in way over my head. I thought getting rid of my dad's bad luck curse would put things back to normal. Instead, I'm stuck playing caretaker to the Great Dragon of Korea. That wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn't such a jerk, or if every dragon on the planet wasn't out to kill him, or if he was my only problem.
