This was a revenge which Grant Tilbury, Duke of Ravenscroft did not expect. Not in a million years!
And Lady Charlotte Ashbourne was the cause - but actually, it was a legitimate case of 'but he started it first', which children often say when told to stop fighting, for example.
I was so happy when they found their happy ever after - what a relief that was!
This was a deliciously engrossing story, well written into the bargain and I loved every single part of it.
This narrator is unfortunately not my favourite one, however, the rendition was done pleasantly enough.
I have just finished listening to an early copy of the audio version having previously read the book and am quite happy to leave my voluntary review of it.

I just listened to the audiobook version of this friends to lovers story and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well written, is of a good length, has some realistic characters and the narration was really good.
Cordelia is quite a headstrong young lady and once she gets an idea into her head, she proves to be quite stubborn, much to the utter frustration of Nathaniel, but somehow they manage to work out their differences and find their happy ever after.

I have now both read the book and listened to the audiobook and yes, it was even better this second time around!
Rangvald and Elin bump heads in this heated fight for control and I loved their single-minded passion.
The story is gripping and the narration so easy to listen to.
My review is given freely and I am eagerly awaiting the next in this amazing series.

I honestly don't think another story could get any more dramatic, gripping, breath taking, thrilling, romantic, sensual nor any more exciting than this one.
I'm still trying to catch my breath and to stop thinking about all that happened and all the twists and turns.
This is the kind of story which I want to shout about from the roof tops - and every other place that I can.
The audiobook, which I have just listened to is beautifully narrated by three rather good voice actors and they helped bring this story to life so it was a rather good pairing of writing and narration which I have thoroughly enjoyed.

This volume consists of 3 Viking Warriors' stories (Viking Thunder, Viking Wolf and Viking Beast) and the common theme or character is Elswyth.
She must be the one of bravest of characters I have yet read about, enduring her fate yet never giving up hope nor the will to survive.
She is forced to live with and service these three warriors having been captured by each of them at different times and she comes to love each one and they her in return.
This is a violent, passionate and forgiving story, full of revenge, betrayals and secrets with a most satisfying final Epilogue in the third book which makes it all worthwhile.
There were times when I was absolutely emotional, others when I was sitting in awe or in suspense or totally happy with what was happening in these stories but I was glued - I couldn't put this down for any great length of time ... I was totally captivated. Amazing!
Emma Parry, the narrator did a good job and has some interesting 'voices' and which she uses for the listener's benefit and entertainment.
I listened to the audiobook version and my unbiased review is given voluntarily.

I loved Frida and her innocent awakening! She understood what she had to do but didn't know if she could pull it off and her journey was simply beautiful.
I also loved Gunnar's voyage of love. Together they lit up the skies!
I have just finished listening to the audiobook version and the narration was an absolute treat!

I originally read this book in November 2023 and have now had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook version. This is a really good collaboration between the authors and the narrator making it a story well worth listening to (or reading).
I found the subject matter quite interesting – Vikings and really strong women and it was with absolute delight that I watched as Hedda and Eldberg went from enemies to lovers and then on to their fabulous happy ever after.
Their gradual building of love and trust was quite engrossing and the pace was perfect. Such wonderful characters, each strong in their own way.
I can hardly wait for the rest of this series because this one was just that good!

I listened to the audio version of this story..
What a beautiful and flowing story this was with Stephen running his orphanage for girls and keeping his hands clean, but, Oh Max! You are such a temptation for him.
Together with some help from a few of The Brotherhood members, they go about trying to solve the mystery of the disappearing children.
I loved how The Brotherhood is always there for their members, giving support and assistance whenever needed. They are like a family to each other.
And I also loved how strong the bond was between Stephen and Max.

I originally read this book in August 2023, but I have just been privileged to listen to the audiobook version narrated by the very talented Gareth J Davies and he made it so easy to listen to and enjoy all over again. What a great pair of talented artistes Emmanuelle and Gareth are!
This is a wonderful story with really colourful characters and it is so nicely written that I couldn't stop listening until I had finished it. The same thing happened when I read the book.
(What can I say? I like well-endowed Dukes too! Who wouldn't?)
The story has two really colourful characters in and it is really worthwhile either reading or listening to.
(SPECIAL NOTE: This particular title amuses me very much. I also wonder if, at some stage back then, a Lady had in fact written this type of guide book. I guess that would be possible?)

I have enjoyed this Trilogy of Scottish stories so very much!
What exactly is it with a Scottish story that grabs me? I think it is the absolute hunks who are the heroes. They all seem to be brooding, loving and compasionate, devilishly handsome and well built So, who wouldn't love to have a guy like that in their life! (Even if its only in a fictional story – Lol!)
This bundle has the hero and heroine having to solve some very troubling mysteries while they find their happy ever after.
There are family members, friends and some strange but cleverly elusive characters whose intentions are to do harm. They all play their parts wonderfully to help to make this not only an interesting read, but also one which entertained me and kept me turning pages to the very end.
I loved the narration by Gareth J Davies and especially how he changes from one character to the next, seamlessly and with the perfect voice to match each character. Impressive!
I have listened to a complimentary copy of the Audible version and my voluntary review is above.
