Story
Why is Miami… Miami? What does the heartbreaking fate of the cheetah tell us about the way we raise our children? Why do Ivy League schools care so much about sports? What is the Magic Third, and what does it mean for racial harmony? In this provocative new work, Malcolm Gladwell returns to the subject of social epidemics and tipping points, this time with the aim of explaining the dark side of contagious phenomena. Through a series of gripping stories, Gladwell traces the rise of a new and troubling form of social engineering

OK ending to a GREAT series.

Too many twists and turns for the sake of making the book longer. Too many obstacles for it to be believable. The previous stories had a few obstacles that by some measure, the hero over came them. This was one after another after another...
Greg Iles usually has a very compelling story, but this one had the hero voicing concerns that the twist didn't support. This book would have been a great book, 5 hours shorter.

Tornadoes, cyclones, tsunamis… Weather can be deadly – especially when it strikes without warning. Millions of Americans could soon find themselves at the mercy of violent weather if the public data behind lifesaving storm alerts gets privatized for personal gain. In his first Audible Original feature, New York Times best-selling author and journalist Michael Lewis delivers hard-hitting research on not-so-random weather data – and how Washington plans to release it.

I am not sure why the author felt the need to bring in the Trump administration, seems like this is a long standing issue. I think the information stands on it's own, without bias of party. The tax payers are not getting what they paid for and this ought to change. It is probably too late since we allowed companies to form and make a profit from tax payer purchased information. Actually disgusting! I would like to think this is the only field where the tax payers paid for something and they aren't receiving the benefit. I do not think that is the case. I am sure it is rampant, but this is at least a highlight. Hopefully this changes things in the government, I fear not.

Good, but too predictable

I typically like all of his books. This one just was too long to get anywhere. Almost like Gregg added stuff just to lengthen the book. The story would have been great at half the length.

Story
From its first moments, Hunter takes you on a nonstop thrill ride: from the top floor of the CIA, to the marbled corridors of Capitol Hill...from the posh hotels of downtown Washington, to the city's mean, violent streets. It introduces a colorful new hero for our time - and a dazzling heroine every bit his equal. A spy mystery...a crime thriller...a passionate romance: Hunter is a genre-bending novel unlike any you've read. Deviously plotted, filled with vivid characters, and propelled at a breakneck pace.

Good Story, narrator paused at the wrong times

Would you try another book from Robert Bidinotto and/or Conor Hall?
I thought the story line was good. Preachy a few times but not overly. I would try another book from Robert Bidinotto but Conor Hall broke sentences too frequently. When the story became intense the reading improved, but the set up was painful to get through.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes, I liked the story and was captivated a few times that I didn't want to leave the car. When the sentences were short and the story was moving, Conor did a fine job. When the story lulled it was too noticeable to overcome.
What three words best describe Conor Hall’s voice?
Deep (+), varied (+), gaps (-)
Did Hunter inspire you to do anything?
I already had Hunters perspective on crime, so I will continue to support his POV. I think it is a good story to get out there in the public forum.
Any additional comments?
I liked the book overall and I'm glad I stayed with it. I almost turned it back in due to the intermittent pauses in speech. The story was too good once I hit disk three.

Story
A breakneck race against time…and an implacable enemy. An anonymous young woman murdered in a run-down hotel, all identifying characteristics dissolved by acid. A father publicly beheaded in the blistering heat of a Saudi Arabian public square. A notorious Syrian biotech expert found eyeless in a Damascus junkyard. Smoldering human remains on a remote mountainside in Afghanistan. A flawless plot to commit an appalling crime against humanity. One path links them all, and only one man can make the journey. Pilgrim.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, kept my interest throughout. Interesting story that kept you thinking and engaged. Great reader as well. I would love to have more of the same.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Pilgrim, regardless of the name he chooses, Scott I guess. Interesting how he got to where he did with the limited information he had. I love understanding how he put the clues together.
Which character – as performed by Christopher Ragland – was your favorite?
I enjoyed the book and I can't say there was a bad performance. They were all good. I know this sounds like I like everything, rarely do I find a book this good all the way through.
If you could rename I Am Pilgrim, what would you call it?
Yeah, I really don't like the title, it doesn't do the book justice, nor is "Pilgrim" used much. I thought of "Loner" but Pilgrim is better... maybe "Reluctant Operative".
