Story
Pixies are supposed to be petite, beautifully lithe creatures with gossamer wings. Sporting luscious, ombre pink hair and fluttering pink wings, Phil meets two out of three of those criteria. At over six feet tall, no one would dare call Phil petite. As a home-and-hearth pixie, Phil yearns to find a home and family he can bond to. When no one's willing to hire a pixie of his stature, Phil is forced to find work elsewhere. Turns out, pixies make terrible bouncers.

Perfectiy Imperfect Pixie by MJ May is a precious story of found family, love, and acceptance with a slide into romance without ever really addressing it between a larger than average home and harth pixie and a werewolf that’s recently gained custody of his niece and nephew and needs all the help he can get. If you like the House in the Cerulean Sea and want similar vibes, check this one out. It’s precious and sweet 💜.

Story
PhD candidate Phoebe Walsh has always been obsessed with true crime. She's even analyzing the genre in her dissertation—if she can manage to finish writing it. It's hard to find the time while she spends the summer in Florida, cleaning out her childhood home, dealing with her obnoxiously good-natured younger brother, and grappling with the complicated feelings of mourning a father she hadn't had a relationship with for years.

Bound by debt, oath, and love, Adam blazes his own trail into the underworld to get Vicente back, and to end the threat of the warlock once and for all. But the road to hell is paved with far more than good intentions.

What a ride these three books have been. The concept of stretching what little you have in a main character in such a fantastical setting is a pretty creative way to go. I also love how the titles of each book can be seen as derogatory, but are pretty subversive to Adam himself, save this last book, yeah that guy is a deadbeat druid lol.
I loved that this was such a fantastical story that dealt with love, redemption, family, and so much more. Adam is a fantastic conduit for these themes throughout the book and I was immersed in his relationships and dramas (oohhh that live angle between a certain elf and a police officer ouuuwee what sweet drama).
Anyway, treat yourself to this series, it’s pretty epic and grounded ;)

Story
Atticus Mulvaney is the eldest son of eccentric billionaire, Thomas Mulvaney - a role he takes very seriously. Atticus takes everything seriously. Like his brothers, Atticus is a psychopath, raised to right the wrongs of a broken justice system. Unlike his brothers, he’s not very good at it. Jericho Navarro is no psychopath, but he is a vicious killer. Like Atticus, he also has a secret life. To most, he’s just a mechanic. But to a ragtag group of social misfits, he’s Peter Pan, teaching them to eliminate those who prey on the weak with extreme prejudice.
