Story
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

I already had the hardback buy I'm so glad I got the audiobook! It was so fun to hear Matthew tell the stories in his own voice so you can hear the excitement, love and enthusiasm of the stories. He's a great story teller! I really think he should be a voice option for my GPS! LOL!

I struggled to finish this one. I had high hopes because of the excellent reviews, however I felt it lacked a lot of development between the characters and dragged through the middle. wouldn't waste time on this one.

Story
Quiet and aloof rock star Jake McKallister and outspoken, vivacious college student Casey Caldwell are polar opposites: Casey is bubbly and talkative; Jake is reclusive. Casey enjoyed a picturesque childhood; Jake’s childhood could only be described as a well-publicized nightmare. Jake’s life revolves around music, and Casey can’t carry a tune.

great!!

This was my first Jodi Picoult book. I chose it for the title and ratings, having not read the description or knowing what it was about. I had a knot in my stomach the whole time. I feel very strongly about the subject of racism and the importance of not judging people for their skin color. I hate to think that people ,really still do that, but sadly it's true. This book was well though out and written. I highly recommend it.

Imagine answering your cell phone one day to a male voice that gives you three minutes to confess your sin. If you don't, the madman, Slater, will blow your car to smithereens. You barely manage to exit heavy traffic and ditch the car when, precisely three minutes later, your car blows sky high. The media and police descend on the scene; your world has just changed forever.

Good story, kept me interested throughout. the only think I wasn't crazy about was the narrator's voice. He is very breathy, nasaly and talks too fast at times when doing multiple people/voice so it was a little confusing at times. otherwise, I enjoyed the story.

A note from the author: With Full House, Charlotte Hughes and I teamed up to create an exciting new series. Now we bring you the second audiobook, Full Tilt, filled with even more fast-paced action, crazy characters, steamy sex, suspense, and nonstop hilarity. While these audios are not set in the world of Stephanie Plum, we're convinced they will bring you all the fun, wisecracks, and the adventure that we love.
