The story was okay. But, the voice acting made it difficult to stay in the narrative. Every voice was the same and some words were so over-pronounced that they became the focus.

Solid continuation of the characters. Started off quickly, but slowed a little in the middle.

I am a survivor of childhood narcissistic abuse, and am also a clinical psychologist. I benefitted greatly from this book, and shared it with my sister. Shahida Arabi thoroughly and accurately describes the dynamics in these abusive families, and provides helpful information on how to heal and set boundaries.

Great story that doesn’t lose steam. Narration is a bit scattered, but not enough to detract.

Bronson Pinchot is no Macleod Andrews. As with previous books, the story was entertaining. BUT, the character voices absolutely ruined the experience … especially the voice of Forrest Gump.

I thought a nice scientific mystery would provide a break from the political polarization and left-right vilification. Boy howdy was I wrong. But the voice actors are solid.

Pointless fever dream, rehashing descriptions and themes from prior good stories. Only finished to see if there was an apology at the end. Spoiler - there is none.
