The Story was mediocre. The narration was sometimes over dramatic. Not the worst book, just fair.

The book is good, the narration is difficult to tolerate. Spoken too mechanically with excessive pronunciation.

Deep. Enlightening. I couldn’t stop listening. I’m sure almost everyone knows someone who could be this if not themselves

The Story was good. The characters were well built. Performances were great. The music was unnecessary and a little distracting. I would recommend

What made the experience of listening to Bright Side the most enjoyable?

The Characters were so rich I can't let them go. It's been more than a week since I finished the book and I am still thinking about it constantly. Yes it's sad but I would listen again and again. The second book, Gus, helped erase the sadness and see the greatness.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Too many to choose just one. Obviously Kate and Gus are the top two.

What does Roger Wayne and Lidia Dornet bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Lidia Dornet is fabulous! I will listen to just about any book that she narrates.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Live epic

Any additional comments?

The overall experience would have been a little better had the Lidia performed all the female characters. Roger Wayne was a great narrator but sounded too old for the character he played. The book made me want to hear the music from Rook :)

I will listen to just about anything narrated by Carolyn Lee. I was expecting the story to be just good but was very pleasantly surprised.
Just when I thought I knew the answers another twist.
