Story
The biggest threat to the United States comes not from abroad but from within. This is the provocative, timely, and unexpected message of Council on Foreign Relations President Richard N. Haass’ Foreign Policy Begins at Home. A rising China, climate change, terrorism, a nuclear Iran, a turbulent Middle East, and a reckless North Korea all present serious challenges. But U.S. national security depends even more on the United States addressing its burgeoning deficit and debt, crumbling infrastructure, second-class schools, and outdated immigration system

A chronological, systematic teaching on the Foreign policy of the USA by a diplomat
Reviewed: 11-28-24
This is a chronological, systematic teaching on the Foreign policy of the USA by a seasoned American diplomat. It is objective, dispassionate lucid, and also gives an insider reading of major foreign policy actions of the USA both historical and real policy points of view.
It is broad spectrum as it covers the pre -independence British colonial US period up till Barack Obama’s presidency, about 2008-2016
I recommend it to professional, diplomats, and researchers and learners of USA foreign policy.

International relations affects everyone's lives: their security, economic well-being, rights and freedoms, and the environment they share. Recently we have seen the transformation from a world of empires to today's world of sovereign states, which are enmeshed in a complex array of international institutions, all exercising degrees of political authority. The new global organization of political authority has far-reaching consequences. This audiobook untangles this complex world, providing an accessible framework for understanding the contours of global political change.

À great International Relations Resource book
Reviewed: 06-07-23
I like the presentation. This book is not only a deep teaching on the origins of various theories of International Relations, it gives accurate and appropriate exemples. The language is not only simple but always accurate. The various topics are comprehensive.Every diplomat should read or listen to this book in audio form. It’s so interesting that I have listened to it three times and shall continue to hear the professorial author and take notes.
The examples given are world-wide and the author gives copious examples from the United Nations and other international organizations.
We need the kindle format of it, urgently for ease of hard copy quotations.

An Excellent Resource book For Preachers and Pastors
Reviewed: 01-24-23
Indeed, Charles H. Spurgeon merited tge title of King of Oreachers of all times in English language.
I have been preaching the gospel for about fifty years and I have authored many books, some on Theological issues, but Spurgeon always teaches you some crucial matters every time he is consulted in this book.
I love the pragmatic insights and especially practicals of preaching.
His treatment of Anecdotes to me, is non-pareil, indeed no equals.
It is well read and well supported y Bible references. I recommend it to all Pastors, preachers and serious Christians.

Life-imparting, Preparing us for heaven

My wife and I have listened to the Bible together, daily, as a couple since 1983, being thirty-nine years.
It’s well rendered, has given us clear perspective if God’s original plan, human frailties and disobedience but clear and loving divine restorative remedy for humanity.
In general, the Bible has manifested that it is indeed , above any other book, of divine origin and remains victorious over all adversities. Bravo.

A very inspirational Devotional!
It is full of practical life experiences, well written and well realized. Hope the examples could be updated and the living editor should make them speak to current post-modern generation.
Also, it apparently got frozen in the sad life bitter experiences of the lady writer. Should be toned up to be more cheerful.
It has been my devotional for about ten years now.n

A Greet Resource book on writing Children’s book-experiential and illustrative
Reviewed: 10-21-21
This is indeed a very effective guidebook on how to write children’s books. I was impressed by the strong emphasis laid on deciding on age grade a writer is targeting.
The writer has shared his real life experience especially how his children read and reacted to his book. These reactions guided the language and psychology of his books’ plots.
The aspects of inspiration linked with age bracket of readers as well as stages in publishing are well treated.
The reading is clear and well dramatized. I like to read and re-read this book.
I recommend this as a great resource book for would-be writer and professional writers.

It is well presented in digestible doses and covers almost all aspects of social relationship. The laws are practical and graduated in progressive manner. It covers such a wide range of examples from biblical to 18th to 21st century historical and socio-economic examples.
From simple friendship rules to international diplomatic relations counsels.
Moreover the lessons written in shirt chapters are interdependent abd yet are readable and logical individually.
