A kid's book (that's not really for kids) to help you cope with the world's rapid descent into a dystopian societal collapse. Sleep well!

I love the absolute lighthearted way it's read. I follow Tawni on Instagram and this is the caliber of content she's shown time and again. Each letter works perfectly for the theme and I feel like 11 years old would be about the right time to let your kids listen to this. Some might want to wait until 16 or so when they can really grasp the depth of the humor.

Story
The world ends in a slew of blue notification boxes, bringing with it a game-like existence including monsters and Classes. Now, John has to make his way from Kluane National Park in the Yukon to Whitehorse through monster-infested forests. But, that's not enough; because he'll need to help rebuild civilization itself around the System, aliens, and monsters. And, as always, humanity will be its own greatest enemy.

the setting is amazing

the setting of the story adds a lot to the feel of the story. it's a hint of realism thanks to how it all plays out. the one qualim is with the female voices. mostly they are distinct enough but it's more of a personal preference that men can't do female voices as well as females can do male voices. it's better when they have an accent because of the way he does those.
