Althea Rose and bunch of quirky friends are a testament to Tricia O"Malley's creativity, imagination, and storytelling skills! Althea's latest adventure in the Bahamas with (of all things) The Flamingo King , is one of the most hilarious romps I have ever listened to! This addition to the Althea Rose paranormal mystery series has everything I have come to love about Tequila Keys and its fun loving citizens. Besides a flamingo themed pink mansion in the Bahamas there are pirate ghosts, buried treasure and rum punch fueled parties. Tricia allowed her imagination to run wild with this story , and the result is a laugh a minute free for all that is sure to have you rolling on the ground laughing! I hope the fun never ends!

Full of action romance and some of the greatest characters I have ever met! The alpha male heros, all uber protective and dreamboat sexy, are to die for! Their women are beautiful strong and successful and I am super jealous! But Everely, Parker's percouisis little girl and the three service dogs steal the show as far as I am concerned! Very well done and worth the time to listen!

I love everything Tricia O'Malley writes and One Tequilla is no exception! This is a delightful story with a quirky group of islanders to include witches , psychics and voodoo priestess! The dialog is laugh out loud hilarious. The narration is wonderfully done. Each character is easily identified by the voice inflections and emotion of the performance.
One Tequilla is an entertaining, boisterous romp across the Florida keys where the criminals don't stand a chance against the hurricane forces of Althea Rose and her friends! I can hardly wait to sample more from the series!

There is never a dull moment in Mudbug, Louisianna ! Jana Deleon's creative imagination has built a world full of quirky characters, suspense and a touch of sweet romance. T he quirkiest of them all is the ghost of Helena Henry! Helena's daughter- in' -law, Maurice, has suddenly developed the ability to see ghosts. Just her luck it's her hated mother-in-law! The fun starts there and doesn't let up until the very last page. I laughed so loud I disturbed my dogs! I never had so much fun listening to a book in all my life. Jana Deleon's writing is picture perfect! Her character development is so magnificent the characters become as real as my next door neighbors! And the narration is delightful. If possible this book deserves more than 5 stars. Trouble in Mudbug is a definite 10 in my library!

I love romance that involve special ops men. So much so I married one! While Riley Edward's didn't capture all the trials and tribulations of loving a special operator, she came pretty close. ( The reality doesn't always make for HEA, after all!)

The characters of Free are well-developed and believable. The snarky comments between team members brought back fond memories of team get togethers many years ago. Oh to be so young and seemingly invincible again!

The love scenes between Shane and Lilly were spicy hot. I could really feel the steam and the tingles. Free is definitely not my mother's romance novels! However, the romance was seamlessly woven into the suspense and mystery of the story, and in no way detracted from the plot.
The best part, of course, was that Free ended in the happily ever after I crave in my romance novels! I can hardly wait to start book 2!

The story was intriguing as is book #1 , In Her Sights, was. The suspense was exciting. The romance and love scenes were steamy but in no way overpowered the rest of the story. My only complaint was that the main characters did not mesh like I would have liked. Cora sounded too naive and socially awkward . Though this could have been partly the way the narrator interpreted Cora, I think it was how the author developed the character. Cora is younger than Molly her sister and so I would not expect her to be as strong and independent as the woman who practically rsised her. Yet, Cora seemed so childlike for a woman almost finished with college.
Otherwise the performance was well done. I loved the fast pace in the escape and the slower softer voice used for narration. It was easy to distinguish who was speaking in the scenes. Most especially I wasn't running to my Kindle store to pick up the written story and find out what I missed.

Hilarious Midlife Magic!

You Light Up My Midlife Crisis is a laugh out loud hot mess of a Women's Paranormal Fiction novel by Robyn Peterman! In the world created by Robyn, angels are violent and literal, Karma really is a bitch complete with a potty mouth and toothpicks in her mouth, and at Midlife Daisy a 40 year old widow discovers she is a Death Counselor -someone whose job it is to help the dead finish their unfinished business and go into the after life.
This series is an adult version of the never ending story! Just when you think that Daisy has this Midlife magic under control another celestial being steps in to drop a F- bomb on her life. I hate cliffhangers but for this series it is such an effective tool for engaging the reader and developing loyalty I can't complain. In fact as we neared the end of this performance I found myself giggling while saying "Wait for it...!" only to grin when indeed all h**l broke loose!

Robyn Peterman had complete control of my emotions throughout the reading of her novel. There were plenty of laugh out loud moments but this time there were moments like in a Hallmark Christmas movie that brought tears to my eyes.

Sometimes the narration gets ear-piercing loud and screachy. Volumne control is needed. And certainly there is a lot of profanity but these novels are written for us women of a certain age who have experienced a lot of profanity in our lives and have lived to tell about it. Robyn Peterman makes it possible to laugh at menopause and Midlife crisises. That in itself is a gift!
