Poor book. Unrealistic story development. Action in some scenes is so ridiculous as to make you scratch your head. Poor reader. 'Nuf said. Don't waste your credits.

Don't waste your money, time or credits. Virtual voice is OK but has trouble with some references. Story is ridiculous, 'heroine' is insipid and most other characters are shallow at best. Horrible!

Ridiculous character continuity, incredibly poor characters who can't remember who they are from one chapter to the next. People nearly come back from the dead. Difficult to finish. Don't waste your credits.

Excellent reader and a book with great depth. Excellent throughout. Topside insight into the adolescent drug culture and high school entanglements that some never escape.

Done with Reacher

I'm a 15 plus year Audible listener and I've always enjoyed Lee Child's Reacher books, but this will be my last one. They've become cookie-cutter books with similar plots, events and characters just with different names. This one was written from the same template as at least 3 other recent ones. Disappointing. It's also very hard to listen to Scott Brick's overly dramatic delivery. His reading is so far overboard as to be difficult to listen for more than a few minutes. Every book he reads, no matter the author or subject is done the same way and gets very irritating. Where's Dick Hill when you need him? He was the real Reacher. Surely there's someone else out there that could do these books without the aching drama.

The droning monotone of the reader and the appalling mispronunciation stagger the imagination. This is such great information but so difficult to listen to, the effort required to finish this audiobook is tremendous.

Fantastic book and great performance by the reader. Tolstoy's grasp of the human condition and understanding of the concepts of marital love and jealousy are more than noteworthy. Every experienced married couple will easily identify with this couple, recently married (5 years or less) are dealing with the problems now - hopefully with different solutions. Modern teenagers, especially females, should read the first sections to learn the consequences of clothing choices.

I've always enjoyed Hiaasen's work and he remains one of the great wits of our time and his noteworthy sarcasm is, as always blistering. However, this book is more like a hit piece for the upcoming election than pointed commentary on his usual themes.

Scott Brick overdramatic reading contributed in making this a disappointing listen.
