This book is a good, solid, and basic overview of intermittent fasting with specific information for women over 50. It is easy to understand, and the narrator does a good job. There are lots of personal stories and testimonies to show the many benefits that people have had using this method of weight loss and healing. I'm looking forward to trying some of the tips in this book to maximize my intermittent fasting journey.

I have listened to a lot of finance books, and most of them are the same. They go over investing, the different forms that takes, what to expect, etc.. What I liked about this book is that it also included very practical everyday tips and tools to maximize your finances and decrease debt. This book covers everything from how to select a bank, simple savings, making a budget, etc... to deeper issues like loans, credit cards, leasing vs buying a car, renting vs buying a house, investments, and more. It talks a great deal about mindset, which is so important when it comes to financial freedom. It even discusses how to introduce your children to financial matters so that they develop healthy lifetime habits themselves. It is a fairly basic introduction into finance, but I think that everyone will be able to get something from it- regardless of where you are on your financial journey.

I really enjoyed this book. I am not what I consider a "typical" prepper- but I am very interested in surviving the natural disasters that plague the area in which I live. I didn't know much about prepping, but I can no longer say that after listening to this book. I look forward to stocking my home and pantry using the tips and tools included in this book. I like that the author not only addresses survival, but is also interested in the comfort and pleasure of the person/people using this method. He talks about palate fatigue (getting tired of eating the same thing over and over again), how to plan for meal variety, and even includes desserts- 3 each week! Love that. Haha. I am also a nurse and enjoyed the 2nd book in the collection, which focused more on herbal remedies and maintaining health using natural methods. I highly recommend this book for anyone- but especially those that don't think prepping is "for them." I think you'll be surprised!

This book is filled with hours and hours of useful and interesting information about Permaculture Gardening. The author does an excellent job of being both informative and engaging. Even funny, which is rare in a gardening book! I love the focus on reusing, recycling, and sustainability. I also love that the author likens gardening to art. It made me see gardening in a whole new light. There were some really practical tips and tools that I have never encountered in other books. I particularly love the idea of pulling up a chair and watching my yard in the rain, to see what happens. To see how the rain falls and flows… What a lovely idea! I highly recommend this book.

This book does a deep dive into the various hormones affecting our bodies, minds, and emotions during peri-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause. It also does a good job explaining the various symptoms that go along with these hormonal changes, as well as various treatments. I like that it includes natural remedies, as well as HRT options. This book acknowledges that not all bodies are alike, and neither will be our experiences... and offers various options without judgement. I applaud the author for briefly mentioning lipedema, as well (something I actually suffer from that is not often diagnosed or recognized). There is something for every woman in here- I recommend it!

This is the first audiobook that I have listened to that is uniquely focused on creativity. The music was relaxing and the affirmations were empowering. I look forward to listening to this again and seeing how it helps to bolster my creativity and my confidence in the creative process.

In my opinion, this information is not only useful for children with anger issues, but also for raising healthy, well adjusted children who know how to handle conflict and anger in healthy ways. It was also a good reminder that children model us, for the most part, and learning how to handle conflict and anger as adults will go along way in guiding our children. This book was a good, well-rounded resource and I recommend it for all parents.

This book covers a vast array of life skills for teen boys- particularly older teens either looking to leave home, or recently on their own. From knowing when to go to the doctor, how to paint a room, cleaning the house, buying a suit, basic carpentry, and more- this book will be a good resource for any young man entering into the next phase of life.

This book is a good resource for first-time dads. I like that it starts from the very beginning- finding out the news- and continues throughout the duration of the pregnancy, birth, and presence of the new baby at home. Many books focus on just the skills of being a dad, but this guide also delves into the emotions and life changes that will happen, as well as the feelings of their partner and how best to support her, as well. I also like the fun sports-theme of the chapters. Overall a good basic intro on the joys (and tricks) of fatherhood.

This guide provides a thorough overview of the most common causes of neck pain, and the various ways that it can be treated or cured. I appreciated the information on how to try self-treatment, for those that either cannot afford, or don't have access to other more mainstream and "professional" treatments. I have found the stretches and exercises helpful, and was happy to learn that I didn't need any props or equipment to do them. I recommend this book for anyone struggling with neck pain. You have nothing to lose- except your pain!
