Story
Today, we are told that medical interventions increased our lifespan and single-handedly prevented masses of deaths. But is this really true? Dissolving Illusions details facts and figures from long-overlooked medical journals, books, newspapers, and other sources. Using myth-shattering information, this book shows that vaccines, antibiotics, and other medical interventions are not responsible for the increase in lifespan and the decline in mortality from infectious diseases.

Well Researched History of Medical Treatments
Reviewed: 01-02-25
It is enlightening to know history of any subject, and when it comes to our bodies, it can be life saving!
The primary sources of successful treatments that are long forgotten in medicine, have lead us to poor general health outcomes despite our wealth and much improved sanitation.
High recommend reading this to know about previous lies and ignored treatments that have proven results!

Story
At the front of a middle-school classroom in Oklahoma, a boy named Khosrou (whom everyone calls "Daniel") stands, trying to tell a story. His story. But no one believes a word he says. To them he is a dark-skinned, hairy-armed boy with a big butt whose lunch smells funny; who makes things up and talks about poop too much.

I haven't enjoyed a book as much since, The Book Thief. Tales of Persian culture masterfully woven with the reality of immigration. I have nothing but praise for the author, even with some toilet humor.

Story
Modern culture is increasingly outspoken against a biblical understanding of what it means to be a woman. Even some Christians, swayed by the LGBTQ+ movement, have rejected God’s word on issues of sexuality and gender in favor of popular opinion. In light of these pressures, it’s more important than ever to help women see the truth about who God created them to be. In this powerful book, Rosaria Butterfield uses Scripture to confront 5 common lies about sexuality, faith, feminism, gender roles, and modesty often promoted in our secular culture today.

Clear Answers to Current Madness from Scripture.
Reviewed: 10-14-24
Christians are vulnerable to handling the onslaught of new demands from the rapidly changed Western culture. As we are commanded to love our enemies, Christians have mistakenly bent the knee to evil, thinking they were showing love. Rosaria Butterfield has written a wonderful book with clear explanations of what is sin and how a Christian is to deal with that sin in a God honoring way. It is not kind or loving to affirm a lie or allow another eternity in Hell because they were not presented the truth of the gospel, which could save them. God bless Rosaria Butterfield for this book! It has given me the words to express clearly answers to the insanity I see from God's Word.

I was unaware how often this saint to the Lord Jesus dealt with melloncholy and self-doubt. He would return to the truth that any good we do is my God's power, and not our own. He gave glory to Our Lord!
