I had no background in the history of Oklahoma and the land grabs. Lisa Wingate’s books are always moving and hard to put down and this one was no exception. This one and “the Book of Lost Friends” taught me about things I needed to to know.

I love Kate Quinn! I can never stop listening to her books. They are all different with great characters and great plots. I love the parts in this book when it’s written from the POV of the house.
